    9/15/2008 RICH IN SIX CHALLENGE

How much money do you normally make in six weeks?

How much money do you think you could make in six weeks if your life, or the life of a loved one depended on it?

Extreme circumstances often lead to amazing results!

This challenge is about making quick cash, lots of it, chunks of change, $100,000 or more (or even small change) in 6 weeks or less using any legal medium or method you can think of. Do you have something you could sell on eBay, a piece of real estate or a car to flip, a service or product to sell or a great idea to develop and implement?

Robert Allen launched his encore Rich in Six Challenge Monday, September 15th with a kick-start conference call where excited participants eagerly awaited for him to declare the winners of the inaugural July 21st Rich in Six Challenge.

Kathy S won the prize for “best story”. The prize? A trip to Tahiti this fall with Robert and a group of Mastery Students. Kathy S – along with Jim L and Charlie F –  also achieved the most verified cash profit; garnering them a day of private mentoring and mingling with Robert at his home.

This Rich in Six Sequel Challenge is open to anyone that would like to compete. In addition to membership on The Millionaire Hall of Fame, we present some very valuable FREE resources for this six week challenge:

    1. Mark H Says:

I am focusing on two primary aspects of the six-week Quick Cash Challenge. First - I am spending / investing none of my own funds; my initial capital is the $1 provided by Robert Allen. Second - I am starting with what I already know and areas in which I already have some competence; this is not about learning a new skill set or another body of knowledge.

I will search for free goods within five miles of my home in Redondo Beach. One of my primary sources will be the “free” listings on http://www.craigslist.com. I will also be disposing of “stuff” in my own home which is not needed or in use. Since being shamed personally by George Carlin, I will start with the boxes of books, household items, etc. left behind by a deceased friend and still cluttering my guest room.

I will be disposing of this “free stuff” through four main avenues. I will use Craigslist for items or groups of items priced from $10 - $50. I will also use the South Bay Daily Breeze Newspaper Treasure Hunt (free for five items per week priced at less than $100) for $10 - $50 items. I will list items anticipated to sell for more than $50 on eBay through the local i-soldit store; this will save me the upfront listing fees and time/effort of listing, communicating with bidders, packing and shipping. I will take specialty items valued at less than $10, such as books and collectibles to local dealers who can purchase them in bulk and for cash.

I will be hitting the ground running on Monday morning, July 21, at 6 AM, with great expectations!

This 2 day seminar really blew me away. Thank you, thank you Bob for your efforts and unbelievable energy. I realized, a lot of times, to be successful in any arena is not about techniques, it’s about attitude, focus, vision, persistence, going full speed single-mindedly. It really opened up my mind and allowed me to see more opportunities and possibilities. I like what Bob said, don’t be afraid of making fun of yourself or looking stupid. I still remember one of my coach told me not long ago, to be successful is to have the ability to endure solitude. From your eyes, Bob, I can tell you are living your life on purpose, you know exactly what you are supposed to do on this earth, and you are doing exactly what you are passionate about. The clock is clicking, and I am ready to start my journey in this 6 weeks challenge; do as much as I can to accomplish my goals. But I also know what’s more important is not what I have done, but who I have become.

      Ka-ching, Ka-ching, MOO, MOO !!!

      Hello,

One great big THANK YOU to Robert Allen, Tom Painter, Jay Abraham, all the speakers especially ALL the people that worked in “production” causing the event behind the scenes. (Sharm, Phil, Amber…)

I want to be complete with having been around the EWI program for sometime now and
not taking on “The Acres of Diamonds” that have been in my space since I joined the protege program !!!

Attending the event “in person” making it happen…exchanging organizational skills for cash and selling my dining room suite made it a “real” experience WORTH every
obstacle that was in my path.

Playing full-out to WIN the Challenge and having the BEST story!

      Mark,
That sounds like a good plan. I think most of us have excess bagage cluttering our lives. It will be fun to see what your clutter is worth. Keep us posted.

      Aliciaqu,
I’m happy to hear you enjoyed the training. The planning that goes into a training event is amazing. It’s good to know our efforts are beneficial and appreciated.

      June,
Thank you on behalf of the EWI staff and best wishes in the challenge. It should be an exciting and dynamic challenge that will produce incredible results.

      Janet

    5. Laura M Says:

Like Mark, I’ll start on Ebay with stuff. I’m also looking forward to trying some of the other money-making ideas from the conference. I’ll post again soon…when I’ve made some cash!

    6. John K P Says:

I am impressed by the emphasis on action in this seminar. The previous seminars were very informative, but I have never risked and won.I need to risk and win.

    7. Jaclyn Says:

I have had a great day getting my goals organized and creating what I like to call my “vision” board. I also became very specific about what I want to achieve and the time frames needed to facilitate my six week challenge. I, too, like Mark have gone through everything in my house that I can get rid of for some fast cash (and in turn organized every room!) I have created a schedule for myself and tomorrow starts with 20 phone calls to real estate adds, see if I can get one and flip it for cash asap! I am also going to pursue two business venture ideas I have. If they work out I will be sure to post them!!

      wishing you chunks of cash,
      js

    8. June K Says:

Participated in all 3 calls yesterday to get clear with focus…a question keeps coming up in the background of my mind…How do I win the game ??? Continued with the declutter of my environment and sold 3 items on Amazon since 7/21…i just keep wondering, what’s the secret? How do I win the game ! Focus is real estate and internet. How do I win the game?

    9. Tammy P Says:

This is so Exciting!! I love the focus on action as well and the team spirit…sometimes it gets lonely being an entrepreneur and this challenge is fantastic to get a big shot of motivational energy going! Thank you!

    10. aliciaq Says:

      I totally agree with June K & Tammy P,

Whatever we focus on always expands, and a supportive mastermind group is essential to our success. Without action knowledge means nothing. I am having a conference call with my group in half an hour, cannot wait to listen to their success stories and share the spirits.

    11. Jasmine W Says:

I’m so excited to begin this challenge. I’m motivated and inspired by this seminar to create multiple streams of income and make more than $100,000 in 6 weeks. So far I have opened some blog accounts and made my own website. Even though it still needs some work, I’m glad that I actually did something. I am still planning some other ways to make multiple streams of income. I have decided to focus on internet marketing. I’m very thankful that I went because it made me actually get up and do something instead of procrastinating and going to another seminar. Now I have a clear visualization of what I want and I am planning on the next success story.

    12. June K Says:

Ok, i just got in…assisted all day around an education that i sow time, spent much of my 10 am - 9 pm commitment creating a bulletin board for the Special Evening session. Creating all from nothing. A potential investor from a networking group i belong to called me…WOW. Guy and his partner look for deals. We have a great conversation. Now i’m thinking ok…now where’s the deal June. Struggled being present while the background conversation in my head was thinking about how to raise the bucks for the software on Jerry Foster’s call Thursday evening…. It took a big inhale and exhale to actually call my older daughter and ask to use one of her credit cards with generous interest and repayment in 90 days, to purchase the software. She called me back and turned me down flat ! She said a bunch of stuff…like i’m a failure blah,blah.blah. What i got present to …i wasn’t angry, i love her unconditionally and it wasn’t going to work. I wish i could say i was humiliated, degrades, feeling like a Big Jerk etc. I was not. I was totally peaceful. I thanked her and that was it. THIS IS A VERY BIG DEAL FOR ME. Any other Friday i would have taken it all personally and my ego could have gone on a rampage. Amazing. I kept thinking to myself…the universe is open…June just ask, just ask, just ask… Around 9 pm, having completed my agreement i had made plans to meet my girlfriend at the diner before going home. My friend Deb shows up, she knows about the 6 week challenge and i tell her about the software and how i am looking at selling my leather couches to raise the money…She says to me…”I can provide the capital you require…i just got my tax refund? Can we partner ? UNBELIEVEABLE !!!!!!!!!!!!!! She wrote me a check ON THE SPOT, THANK YOU GOD !!!! (and Deb Ka-Ching MOO MOO, Ka-Ching MOO MOO, Ka-Ching MOO MOO…the funniest thing… people are actually getting the chant without me explaining it ! Go figure…

    13. aliciaqu Says:

After attending the seminar, I started making more offers, because I know NO OFFERES, NO DEALS!!! And reading other people’s progress here on the blog really movitates myself.

    14. *~AaRoN~* Says:

“I am a Connector!” “I am an expert in the field of Creative Problem Solving!”

To all who were in attendance… Come on and shine with me.. like the beautiful star you are!

    15. Marianne M Says:

Thank you very much for the opportunity. I have listened to almost all the classes, joined ebay and paypal and listed George Carlin type stuff on Craig’s list. Am still trying how to leapfrog from my $1 to $5000. All suggestions will be appreciated. Hope next week will be bigger.

    16. Alicia Q Says:

Wow, Aaron, you have done so much in one week, it really motivated me to do more. Can not wait to hear your success stories.

    17. Charlie F Says:

This has been the most increadible of weeks. My mind having been streached in Costa Mesa refuses to return. Thanks to all the speakers and everyone who shared their time and energies to make this workshop such a success and to all who posted your fantastic comments above.

This week I have joined ebay and paypal, talked with two auto dealers, met with three Realtors, Two Real Estate Attorneys, Two Title Companies, virtually lived on Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA,s website, connected with two Hard Money lenders, two Mortgage Brokers, laying the foundation for the upcomming weeks.

    18. Leonor A. Says:

I want to thank Robert Allen and all the speakers for the wonderful seminar and the classes. It’s really excited to be part of this challenge. I have been in other seminars, but not really moved to take action. The classes and the coaches, this time, inspire and motivate me to act and believe that it’s possible to make money in 6 weeks or less. Also, working with a team is very helpful, it gives us the strength and support to get out goals. I am focusing in the internet and checking how $1 can make a lot of money.

    19. Sylvia C Says:

Thank you to Robert Allen and his speakers. I feel motivated and inspired. I appreciate the opportunity. I have been very busy this last week: I have attended all of the tele classes, set up millionaire hall of fame, set up Ebay and posted my first sale, set up a web page, set up affiliates, set up email signatures, and have researced 10 -20 properties a day. I have submitted offers on 2 house but they were turned down. I am working on offer 3 now. My team has held their weekly meeting and has been great with supporting each other …Go CASH KICKERS!

    20. Alicia Q Says:

Whatever we focus on always expands, and the universe knows what we want and what’s best for us. Just be careful about the things that we ask, and be really clear about it. Persistence plus intensity equals success.

    21. kathy Says:

      Okay, here’s what we’ve accomplished so far…

I’m gathering a group of key real-estate trainers to participate in a joint venture on a give away membership website to be up and running by Saturday, August 2nd. It’s called, WealthGiveAway.com.

The theme of the website is all about the idea that in order to “get” you must first give.

The trainer will send people to the website to sign up as either free members where they will have a chance to upgrade to a paid membership which entitles them to more valuable products, and to a teleseminar series of the real-estate gurus themselves.
If the person upgrades to the paid membership status, the trainer earns a standard commission. If the trainer is the right kind of person, they will participate in a teleseminar to both sell products and to educate the upgraded members who clearly benefit by being able to ask questions one-on-one to the trainer.

The real-estate trainer will benefit by list building, reputation building, and income building.

There will be some surprises and a major give-away of a $5,000 coaching package from Luxury Home guru Marco Kozlowski.

My challenge will be the cold calling and selling I’ll need to do to get the real-estate gurus/trainers involved in the giveaway joint venture.

I’ll have a week to sell the idea to the real-estate folks, then a week to gather the members, and at least two weeks before the challenge is over to make some money with the sale of products.

    22. Nora Says:

Thanks for all of the inspiring comments posted. Thanks Robert Allen for making this path so accessible to us all. The teleclasses have ALL been amazing! I have since set up my account w/ ebay & PayPal, and though my item didn’t sell that’s ok because now I’m going to try posting it on craigslist. The greatest part is believing that I have everything I need within to reach the abundance the universe has in store for me.

May you all be blessed with a wonderfully prosperous journey! :)

    23. June K Says:

Aaron, thanks for sharing powerfully…inspired me to look at my action plan and take action! You are electric and it’s contagious !!!
Today is all about locating the mgical real estate deal !
      Magical, miracles,
      June

    24. Alicia Q Says:

      Hi Kathy,

I think your idea is awesome. I have learned in any business venture, we always want to put others interests in the first place, when we give what others want, we will be given what we want.

      To your success,

    25. Alicia Q Says:

Just finished our group call this morning, and knowing that we have a support team is so motivating. Just like what’s written in Think & Grow Rich, we all need master mind group, and the more we become successful, the more we need our waving fans and support team to brain storm, when a group of people focus on the same direction, miracles will happen.

    26. Marianne M Says:

Thanks to ebay and pawn shops I have gotten rid of stuff and have made more than $500. Now I can buy better stuff to sell. Donated to my church and amnesty international. This has been a productive week for me.
Reading everyone’s stories is so inspiring!

    27. Alicia Q Says:

I got a lot of response from people who have a lot of stuff to get rid of, I am planning to go meet them and check it out this weekend. When I put my intention and positive attitude to something, miracle happens.

    28. *~AaRoN~* Says:

It’s been too long since I have visited you .. All of my Uplifting wonderful Friends in the field. Thank You for the KICK in the Motivation. YOU know hearing your comments makes me feel pretty good.. And you know what they say … Your attitude IS your Altitude, How HIGH Are YOU?

This week I really got some exciting contacts… And Remember “I am a Connector”

I have a Cash buyer I don’t know what to do with yet. Get this.. he has multiple crews for rehabs and 10-20 million and then over that he may need to get financing. Uuuhhh Yeeaahh.. That’s what I said..

Well , When you read my story, you will see I refer to “Number 2″ … Well he has solid relationships with sources for packages of properties. And I am not talking about the REO deals where you buy 100 or 200 and 20% are only worth the dirt they sit on. The most recent deal he did was represented to me to consist of 4.5 million worth of REO properties which he secured for 2,5, and after diligence on ALL of them he classified each and every one as PRISTINE.

SO I have to muster up the courage and the lunch money to get these fellas out and “CONNECT” them. OH Jay Abraham, or Mr. Allen, can I buy you lunch?

On another note. . . Yes the teleclasses ROCK!

NOW DONT STEAL THIS FROM ME: I officially claim the intellectual rights to this one.. that means I think its terrific and its probably just me that thinks so but I have a philosophy I came up with…. and that is We all just have to remember in our dash for cash in the RICH IN SIX CHALLENGE…

      ITS gotta be S.I.M.P.L.E

      make SENSE
      have INTEGRITY
      make MONEY
      have PATIENTS
      use LEVERAGE
      help EVERYONE involved

and it’s that SIMPLE !! he HE he

      *~AaRoN~*

There is Beauty In how my Heart says these ARE the DAYS that last forever and THESE Are the DAYS I Will Remember !! (Exies)

Alicia Q - If The Universe Expands ~ Then SO will OUR Stash OF CASH !! GO Team! and I mean RICH IN SIX TEAM — that’s ALL OF US !!! YOU TOO BOB !! :)

June K -Like High Octane Rocket Fuel ~~ Everything IS Energy !!!

GOTTA GIVE A SHOUT to Charlie!! Great Job !!! YOU TOO SHALL lay the foundation for many to follow…

      *~AaRoN~*

P.S. for those who havent yet checked out Tom Painter’s AWESOME debt reduction and WEALTH BUILDING tool application … YOU MUST…. go to http://www.inwithadreamoutwithaplan.com and even if you only do one thing, click the center button and go through the form.. you won’t regret it…

I am in the 1% CLUB BOB!!!!

    30. Eileen C Says:

This event is so exciting! Bob, Tom and the others have blessed us with this amazing challenge. The two day seminar was fantastic. The support education is worldclass and the instructors are so caring and helpful. We are enjoying our group calls. It’s interesting that though we are in theory in competion with each other, we are more focused on helping one another. It’s truely that the journey is more important than the destiny. The world has enormous avenues of wealth for us to pursue . We have been knocking on many doors and they are swinging wide open for us. Thank you, Bob for this gift. We are the group, Challenge Masters!!!

    31. Alicia Q Says:

      Dear Aaron,

I am always amazed by the spirits that you have and the successes you have accomplished. I totally agree with everyone of you on the comment that We Are All One Team together, without waving fans, without support team, one can only achieve that much. When you give values to others, the universe has a perfect accounting system to give it back to you. But it’s not because we wanna get back, so we give. We give willingly, because it’s where the happiness comes from.

    32. Alicia Q Says:

Just finished the first Cash In Six call with bob, tom and Janet. Every time I listened to these coaches, I feel so energetic and motivated. Thank you all for your great efforts to help us achieve our dreams. Love to listen to the success stories from other challengers, together we can make a history. Just like Bob said, there is no excuses, we gonna do whatever it takes to make it happen. This burning desire plus the actions will make our dreams come true. Nothing can get in our way to live a fulfilling life that we are supposed to live on this earth.

What I have learned in this challenge will help me move forward for the rest of my life. It’s not about what I have done, it’s all about who I have become. I made great friends in this 6 weeks challenge, and I know those people come to my life for a reason, there is really no coincidence in life, and I know there is a higher power in the universe. We all have passions, talents , skill sets and even hobbies, if we can give value to other people by doing those and get paid for it, I cannot think of anything better than that.

4 more weeks to go, can’t wait to be the top 20% or even 5% of the challengers!!! Thank you again, bob!!!

    33. *~AaRoN~* Says:

      OK Everyone !

Looks like we are making the cut. You know who you are.

I was happy to hear the creativity going in to the Challenge from those who spoke out tonight. Thanks for your sharing tonight on “the call”.

I just want to say that there are so many people and companies out there who can tell you, or show you, or sell you, a technique. BUT… Teaching, Giving, and Encouraging really makes all of the techniques better when delivered in the Enlightened way which EWI and Robert Allen has done. I find my motivation quadruples when I know I am helping others and my mentors and support practice the same.

Anyone can go make a deal happen… but knowing those I work with, and work around, are honorable and carry the same integrity which I value, makes all the world of difference for me.

I feel Wealthy in Every Deal I do, no matter what the actual profit, for just this reason.

Thank You Robert G. Allen, Tom Painter, and all who make up, and stand up, for “Making Millions …the Enlightened Way”.

      *~AaRoN~*

Today Aug 4, 2008, at 5pm EST, I was out on my deck and the most beautiful, winged animal soared from the east toward me. Increasing in majestic presence as it approached, swooping elegantly, downward and directly toward me, as I stand on my deck. A bald eagle pitched its head making eye contact, and then swiftly and courageously turned south. After powerfully coming around full circle; for a connection of certainty, in reciprocating the awareness, of me as another being in its kingdom, this spirit filled creature then effortlessly rose above the tree line. Embracing a new journey, to the south, two more eagles standing by, joined in flight, surely… on their way to touch another soul. *~AaRoN~*
There is beauty all around us, and in everything we do… and when we believe this, sometimes we are surprised when it comes to us in the least expected places. *~AaRon~*

    34. Mark H Says:

Thank you Robert Allen for the conversation yesterday - and thanks also to Janet Walgren for her support. I continue to collect free “stuff” locally; from people who are vacating homes and apartments, and from businesses with old or excess inventory. It’s all found on http://www.craigslist.com! After I organize, fix, and photograph these latent treasures I post them for sale in the appropriate categories on Craigslist, in the Daily Breeze Treasure Hunt, and on eBay.

I was discouraged, as only about 20% of the potential buyers who contact me actually show up and hand me cash in exchange for the goods. After Bob reminded us once again of the old “80/20″ rule I realized that, in order to increase sales, I simply need to post more ads. And I have only one response to people who make offers below my asking price - YES!

I have sold “free” books I received to a couple of local book dealers and offered to place “free” art on their bare walls on consignment. Seems appropriate that book-lovers would also appreciate fine art.

With real estate, I have focused on finding buyers since there are so many REO properties locally. I am not dealing with short sales or preforclosures. I do have a hard-money source at an affordable interest rate. I have found a couple of REO houses to buy at deep discount (30% of foreclosed loan amount) from lenders and buyers ready to take them at a reasonable mark-up. Biggest obstacle so far has been rules and restrictions imposed by municipal building / planning departments. Makes no sense to me that they won’t do everything possible to expedite conversion of a vandalized, boarded-up house into a fixed-up, owner-occupied one. But every other prospective buyer is facing the same situation, so it’s a level playing field and one of us will find a solution.

Twenty-five days remaining and this marathon still has many miles to go.

Last I reported I was erecting my site. It’s up now with the sales letter and a page where JV partners sign up. The membership site goes live next Monday. So in the mean time my job is to attract real-estate JV partners to send their subscribers to the site to become a free member and learn how to access private money for their deals. And to perhaps upgrade to a paid premium membership which will allow them to access Q& A sessions with some of the best REI trainers around.

In the next few days I will be contacting good REI investing trainers reaching out by phone, email, social websites, other people in any way I can. If you know of anyone who is a REI trainer who has a subscriber base of REI investors please refer them to the faculty part of the site or to me of course.

As a blind person the technology is always a challenge. Or, just everyday life can threaten to get us all down. For instance, I woke up today and both my Vonage service and my internet were down for around 3 hours. I had have challenges like this every day. However, I always find a work around. I always keep my eye on the prize.

I want to have a successful membership site where people can obtain the solution to their problem of funding their REI deals. I really have a burning desire to successfully get some really awesome REI trainers together to have a great tele-seminar series. To do all of this in 6 weeks is quite a challenge.

Whoo! I need to send out some emails now, and to make a call to a potential JV partner. His name is Charles D. A really great guy. Bye for now.

This is yet another humbling, and phemoeninal week for me. Thank you all for your inspiring comments and for sharing your wonderful moments that has aided me in sustaining my momentum. I have finally closed my first transaction of this challenge realizing a handsome cash profit of $26,100 by employing the techniques demonstrated by the very gracious Jay Abraham and Bob Allen. (Discovering what one has and doesn’t want & what one wants and doesn’t have, then bringing the two parties togather and facilitating the transition).

This is HIP… Humility In Persistence as taught and demonstrated by the enlightened speakers at the conference in Costa Mesa and on the weekly tele conferences. Thank you Bob I’ve got it…. I’ve got it…. and if I can all of us can too. Even when a Buyer walks away… we already know what they WANT and do not HAVE, now we have to find that particular seller who HAVE what they DON’T WANT and make that match, it’s that simple, but requires PERSISTENCE at all levels.

Jackie, Jim, Emanuel your enthusiasm and excitement are contagious and great for the 6 (figures) in 6 (weeks) team. Let’s keep ROCKING as we approach the mid-point of our Challenge. For all who have not yet had profitable results, remember, success is just ahead if we persist and maintain our momentum. Just HIP it. Aaron, you are awe-inspiring.

Thank you Mr. Robert Allen for everything you have done for all of us who are participating in the Quick Cash six weeks courses. This challenge has really opening my eyes to the knowledges that is out there that show you how to make money in almost anything. I did not know there were so many ideas and opportunities out there. It just amazing!!!

I Thank God for putting you in my life in such a time as this and I will do everything I can to accomplished my goals which I have set for myself. My team is so wonderful and a blessing. The conference calls are great and it really help me a lots. Our leader Tony is doing a great job. He gives us great ideas and tips to help us. The team as a group are wonderful and we really believe in helping each other.

Thanks again for this opportunity this really is a great idea!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, here’s what’s going on at this point—

My REI giveaway membership site is completed and I continue to round up JV partners today. The draft sales letter is up on my website.

      Here’s how it will work.

There’s a group of key real-estate investing trainers who are going to agree to send their subscribers to the site to sign up as free members. They will contribute a high quality product to the site and the subscribers who join may download the REI digital products as a member.

When the members sign up there will be a one-time offer to upgrade to a premium paid membership. The JV REI partner will earn a standard referral commission if one of their referrals advance to the paid membership.

Now, the JV partners will also participate in a teleseminar doing two separate calls. One call will be where they will sell their higher end training program or product, and the second call is where they will offer a Q&A call to the paid members only. The paid members will receive personal coaching from the trainer.

It’s Wednesday and I have five more days to gather in my partners so that the site can have a successful launch. At this point we have about five sign ups at the giveaway site with about 6 others pending.

I’m asking each partner to please refer other trainers to me so that I may ask them to participate.

As mentioned above, the membership site goes live next Monday so I do not have much time.

I do feel a great deal of pressure. And at the same time I keep reminding myself that I cannot force things.

I can make the calls. Generate interest, and then give room for things to happen as they will.

I also have another internet project which is more to do with MLM. The people I’m working with on my team do say that they will be referring people to me.

Today I plan to go to some REI forums to see if I may generate interest for the giveaway project there.

I will begin emailing and calling again today.

      Love this challenge!

      Hi Aaron,

I totally agree with what you said, there are tons of real estate investment mentors or gurus out there, but what really struck me with EWI is the enlightend way of achieving wealth. It helps me find out the true purpose of my life, by giving value to all the people around me, I feel the happiness, love, appreciation, support, energy, spirit, which are all more important than the money I make.

    41. Sylvia Says:

Sorry I missed the team call last week…family requirements took me
away. (Dad is recovering from a recent stroke and Mom has M.S.) I
listened to the repeat of our team call so I am up to speed. I have
been getting up early and going to bed late. I feel energized and excited about the opportunity that each new day holds. I am very busy working on
      projects for this challenge.
      1. Researching properties -
      2. Submitted another offer but was also turned down…REO will not
      allow the contingency clauses.
      3. I am looking into hard money lenders - some of which appear to be
standard private money lenders. I have noticed that they now require
65% LTV and 10% down due to the mortgage lending crisis….instead of
the 70% and zero down that was the case a few years ago
4, Website is up but not happy with the way it looks.
5, I have joined several affiliate programs through click bank
6.. Made my first commission on an affiliate program - a whopping
      $45.73 ! Yahoooooo!
      7. I posted 3 separate items for sale on E-bay …unfortunately none
of them sold…I believe due to the fact that I am a newbie…I will
try listing again for free and using some of the tips I learned in the
      Ebay class.
8 I have been attending all of the tele-class calls. The information
is very informative…challenging to implement and profit within the 6
week time frame but looks to be ultimately beneficial.
      9. I have submitted a blog on a free ad forum even got a response
back .. basically a sales pitch from a veteran poster.
      10. I am also working on projects that I had placed on the back
burner…Ideas that I have had for a while. I am taking daily steps
to make these ideas become a reality.
      11. It is true…I am seeing things with different colored glasses
now…Everywhere I look I see possibilities. I just need to focus and
take these possibilities and turn them into huge profit!

    42. Eileen C Says:

Our group,Challenge Masters is really special. Some members are working on real estate. Another is selling products on the internet. Someone else has a contract to supply a store with a product. A member has written a book for presentation as an ebook and later publication in traditional markets. It’s optional whether or not to disclose our progress, yet people seem comfortable enough to say, “I did nothing”, or to go into great detail . At the beginning of the call we ask the Lord to bless us. Others might consider this as well.

    43. Alicia Q Says:

So many wonderful stories on the site, and so encouraging. When a group of people are heading to the same direction, which is in our case, enlightened wealth and quick cash, great things will happen miraculously. I just had my birthday yesterday, and having my birthday just in the middle of this challenge, I think is the best birthday gift I have ever got. What I have learned, what I have accomplished, and who I have become are far more precious than any other gift I received. Cannot express enough about my excitement and gratefulness for this opportunity,

    44. kathy S Says:

Well, it’s Thursday. It feels like we’ve been going uphill. And I do not see the top yet. We have had some triumphs. We have about 6 or 7 good JV partners, but it’s not enough yet. Because of the urgency of this project I feel like I have to politely hammer at the contributers to get their products uploaded so that on Monday when the site goes live we have products for the visitors to see. The more JV partners, the more members. We were hoping for more at this point. So, I’m focusing on the ground work we have done so far, and hoping that it pays off. I’m feeling a bit tired too. Emailing and calling of course when I do not feel like it. This is part of success. Doing the massive action even when it does not feel good. I’m not whinning or complaining, I just want to share honestly where I am right this second. It’s like climbing a very steep mountain. I expected this. And that’s what we have. I do have a great team and I’m very grateful for that.

      I’ll check in soon.

      Kathy

      Alicia,

Happy Birthday! I hope that you had an amazing and blessed day.

    46. Alicia Q Says:

      Dear Kathy S,

Thank you so much for sharing your stories, and I read all of them. We all get tired sometimes, that’s why we have Sunday as Sabbath day to rest and spend some time with God. When I feel overwhelmed or exhausted, I know that’s the time that I should slow down not speed up, I would always give myself some quiet time, and just visualize my goals and dreams, and feel them so real like I already achieve them. It’ll rest my mind and give me the faith and strength to move foward. I believe when we have a vision, all the bumps along the road are a piece of cake.

Try it, and I wish you all the best!!!

    47. Alicia Q Says:

Thank you so much Bob & Janet, I did have a great birthday. As a matter of fact, since I joined this 6 week challenge, a lot of amazing things happened. Some efforts may not make me cash in 6 weeks, but that’s ok. I am 100% sure when the ground work is set up, everything else will be much easier. This is an experience I will never forget. I met so many wonderful people and when I talked to them, two words just came out of my mind like from nowhere, “EFFORTLESS SUCCESS” , “EFFORTLESS SUCCESS”. Isn’t that what we are supposed to do on this earth? To live an enlightened life, to achieve effortless success, to be on purpose and faithful, learn as much as we can to finish our journey on this earth.

    48. kathy S Says:

I’m so impressed with everyone’s persistance. We are all workig to make something out of nothing. Bob did say that accomplishing somethingn in the 6 week period may be one of the hardest things we do. Now we are in the middle of it. And from what I can tell, each of us is staying strong. Awesome!

    49. Marianne M Says:

Many thanks to Robert Allen and his angels. This has been a challenging and rewarding week. I was very surprised at what Mr. Allen said at the Monday conference. It helped to encourage our team call on Tuesday. Just being there on the call was positive. I’ve been a little frustrated but on the other side I now have some ideas and strategies that will carry me on after the challenge ends. I feel our team is beginning to really support each other despite the loss of participation. One of this week’s classes was cancelled, our ebay guru is having a baby, and yet I’ve been able to enroll in JJ Childer’s boot camp and I have an idea for a book(this is way out of my comfort zone as an engineer/farmer0 and had what could turn into a big idea. I spent a lot of time purchasing online inventory so my bottom line for the week is disappointing but I am inspired.

    50. Alicia Q Says:

Hello all, what I have learned in this short 3 weeks is that , as long as we have strong faith in ourselves and the higher power, a lot of opportunities will unfold themselves if we really pay attention to. So many amazing things happened since this challenge, and I am inspired by all the challengers here, their spirits, their positivities and the go-getter attitudes. Now we are in 4th week of the challenge, half way to go. Cheers!!!

    51. Alicia Q Says:

Just finished weekly call with Bob and Janet, this one simple concept of “Solution Specialist” makes the whole world so different. I now can see so many opportunities out there, and the challenges to me now is to sort out the real low hanging fruits to make quick cash in this short period of time. But that doesn’t mean I will not pursue the rest of the ideas that I have discovered, I believe I will maintain this way of entrepreneurial thinking for the rest of my life, and that’s how a real good idea (business )is born.

    52. Eileen C Says:

It was fun in the beginning to explore the possibilities for this challenge. I asked a producer I know if I could be in his upcoming movie and he said,”Yes”. That’ll be fun, but it’s too soon for money. I took Bob’s advice to do something I already know and that is healthcare. I would normally never do anything in that area because I am so saturated with it, but I decided to do a book. I am a Writewise Author and can accomplish something in that arena as well with this. My book is called A Wealth of Health for You. The plan is for it to be an E book and later published. I understand you can set up advertising and write it into the book and get paid for it before the book comes out. I can’t believe I’m even considering going to a major corporation to ask them for this. I have never ever done anything like this. I’m so far out of my comfort zone I feel like I’m dangling from a bungie cord. I asked the Lord to remain as consultant on call for me during this one. He’s an eleventh hour kind of guy, so we’ll see.

    53. Alice F Says:

Hello everyone. Last night after Robert Allens call at our half point in this challenge I realized that I have been letting life and my self employment job get in the way of really working on the challenge. Oh yes, I have listened to all the calls, live or on replay, and taken notes to do this or that but we are half way thru and my profit to date is $9.00 I have over 400 pieces of estate and costume jewelry that I put out to the Craig’s List universe immediately. One person came to see it and purchased some pieces for that $9. Today I got an email from a young girl who is offering $40 for the rest of the lot. I have been making real estate offers which have to date been refused but that isn’t stopping me. Because I need to make the rent at the end of the month I even applied for a couple of jobs, KFC and a donut shop but no luck. Robert Allens way is the only way. I will be working harder at it. We will SUCCEEED!!

    54. robertallenchallenge Says:

Eileen, I love your bungee cord comment. Willingness to go out of your comfort zone is usually what it takes to make positive life altering strides. What do you want for your future? The woman you are referring to made $62,000.00 selling advertising in her book. She wrote the advertisers into her story and the concept netted her $50,000.00 profit after all publishing costs were paid.

Alice, Don’t devalue your inventory just because your first attempt wasn’t as profitable as you would like. You could do a yard sale and get at least $1.00 per item and that is a very conservative figure. At 400 items in your inventory, I would estimate the bare bones bargain price you would settle for would be $500.00. Patience pays dividends.

    55. kathy S Says:

I’m so excited to report my first internet success.

Today we launched this free membership site. At 8:00 AM pacific time I pulled in $1,000
Right now at 12:30 we have almost doubled that figure.

Last time I checked with my project manager we were up to $1,700 and we don’t even have all of our JV partners fully up and running.
The site is converting at over 9 percent. This means that for every 100 visitors that 9 of them take the once in a life time offer we have up there.

I want you to know that over the last year I’ve really been pushing to transform my life in the area of business. I especially wanted to have an internet success. Today, August 13th 2008 marks the day for this transformation.

The website is a place for both giving and receiving. We all know that we must give before we can receive. So, I’m still giving, and now I’m seeing the results of my generosity.

The most gratifying part is my team. My technical team, and my JV partners. It is so much fun to be part of a team that works. And part of a project that works too. Thank you Bob Allen for offering these challenges. Good things are born because of you.

    56. kathy S Says:

The momentum has slowed down a bit at wealth give away This is to be expected.

To date, we have made $7,179 and have over 1200 brand new members. The weekend is typically slow for marketers and so this is true for my JV partners. They do not promote much on the weekend. So Monday will be a day when we will strongly encourage another round of promotional emails to be sent out to their subscribers. And we will likely see the site generate new members.

Friday the 22nd will be the last day members can join. BTW. For anyone who does join, you will receive an affiliate link and when someone you refer upgrades to the premium membership you will earn a 50% commission on the $97 upgrade. Not bad. So, if you need to increase your earnings for the 6 week challenge, I urge you to use this strategy.

Next weeks goals include my plan to begin Tele seminars this Tuesday the 19th with Paulie S to talk about a very attractive line of business credit. Another great reason to sign up…

Thursday the 21st Mark E will present his real-estate investing training to the members via a tele seminar. Mark is an outrageously successful real-estate investing trainer with cutting edge techniques you can use without leaving your house.

We also need to create a quick instructional video on the site for the members which will provide some information about what is expected when we receive an application for a private loan.

The launch of this membership site has been a lot of ups and downs but mostly ups. I can not tell you how significant it was to hear that we made some money that first morning back on Wednesday. It was my first time to make money on line. It’s not the money that is exciting, it’s the fact that I’m actually meeting a need and people are responding to it. It’s quite a high.

I have a solution to their problem. Providing money for their investment projects.

It’s also a team effort. I couldn’t do this without my husband, my project manager, and our partner Paulie S.

My story goes back to when I was a very small child. I noticed at around four years old that others viewed me as fundamentally broken because of my blindness. They would be impressed at the most basic achievement like managing to feed myself without making a mess, or getting around smoothly and competently. And even at four I knew that they didn’t get it. I did not feel broken, or that I was achieving anything special by just doing ordinary things.

So, I spent much of my life trying to prove to them that blindness is not a flaw, an embarrassment or an ugly scar that needs to be covered up or disguised.

I simply railed against their ignorance. For me, blindness is a part of me just like the color of my hair or the color of my skin. It’s neither good, nor bad, it’s who I am.

And so, my driving desire for success has always been a little bit tied to “I’ll show you”.

Yet, I’ve always known all along that those who view me as flawed and broken will never change because of something I achieve, or say, or role model…
The truth is that I cannot control or change their point of view. It’s not my job. There is nothing to fix. They are okay the way they are, just as I’m okay too.

This challenge is showing me in a very deep fundamental way that I can take my desire to help others, and be a problem fixer through my entrepreneurial goals.

As a person who loves to see what needs fixing, I see now much more clearly that fulfilling this desire through business is ideal.

It’s a fantastic fit. I love helping others, providing solutions, sharing my guidance and wisdom.

And even more amazing is that I see now that I can drop my lifelong futile habit of trying to help those who don’t need nor want it, and channel my energy to discerning what the problem is that someone really does need help with, and then successfully provide a solution.

In this challenge I came along and provided a solution at wealth give away and filled a need for its members. The age old problem so many people have which is not having enough money.

And the beautiful thing about a successful entrepreneurial match is that each party enjoys a win.

Now, as an entrepreneur with my first internet success I feel so whole and so fulfilled because I’m fulfilling a deep desire I have and that is to be a problem solver. And the recipient is satisfied to get the funding that is needed to advance toward their investment goals.

I also get another major perk from being an effective entrepreneur. and that is that my blindness is completely irrelevant in the business world.

My business associates are not concerned with my blindness. They only want to know what I’m bringing to the table. And the entrepreneurs that I’ve had a chance to meet over the past 4 weeks have been the most exciting people I’ve ever met. We are all whole and harmonious when we are working together towards the same business goals.

      So what’s left?

Well, I have 2 more weeks and in this time period my job will be to bring on board more JV partners to promote the membership site, and to provide 4 presenters to the membership site with products they can purchase to grow their investment business.

The membership site will continue to flourish. The members will receive further training from the investing trainers who have contributed, and I’ll most assuredly start other successful websites.

And I’ll continue to use Robert Allen’s philosophy about business. Find someone with a specific need and figure a way to fill it.

    57. Mark H Says:

Four weeks down and two to go. I continue to monitor Craigslist for “curb alerts” and anything offered for free. Amazing what people throw away! Last week I invested a portion of my proceeds to date in the purchase of artworks - paintings, prints, photos - from a local prop company which no longer needed them for television and film production rentals. I am confident that I paid pennies on the dollar. These will be marketed through my usual channels and especially through bookstore consignment.

An out-of-town house I referred to a broker specializing in that area sold last week. The local owner of this vacant property had told me she REALLY did not want it and listed below market. She accepted the first offer presented, at 15% below list, and she is ecstatic that it will be gone in 30 days. I will be receiving my referral fee at that time.

I found through Craigslist a house in my neighborhood that the owner wanted to give away free, so that she could build a new one on the lot. I contacted Habitat for Humanity in Los Angeles to see if they had a lot available to move this house. They do not, but offered the next best thing; referral to their Reuse Network through which local contractors spend about a week carefully deconstructing the house. Components which can be used in Habitat projects in the Los Angeles area are stored in their warehouse, while lumber is trucked to Baja California, Mexico for use by Project Corazon to build homes there. After tax deductions for donation of the house, the owner may save all of the cost of removing it and the valuable materials are saved from being lost to a landfill. Definitely a happier ending! I am looking for more of the same.

    58. Alicia Q Says:

      Hello Kathy S,

I am so happy to hear about your success about Wealth Giveaway. And I cannot agree more about giving values first, and always keeping clients interests in the first place, and when we do that, the money will follow.

I have my blog site up and running for a few weeks now since the challenge, and now i am working on more websites and sell them for profits.

      Hello Mark H,

I have to say, good job on that free house, I think that’s what Bob teaches us “The Enlightened way of building wealth”, I have learned so much from all the challengers by reading the blogs here, it not only motivates myself, I also know there are so many like-minded people working towards their dreams just like I do. One of my coaches used to tell me, to succeed you have to endure solitude, but here with EWI, I don’t feel alone, actually quite the opposite, I feel so connected, there are so many supports and encouragements.

    59. Daniel A Says:

      Hi everybody.

I have been working from the start! First time blogging, now that I have found the site I will stay updated.

One my construction streams: I sell and install windows and doors in, one to five million dollar homes, I have been helping out in the burn area in Lake Tahoe.

Another stream: service project, I am working with a group doing some remodeling for McDonald’s, as we all know they have lots of stores! Cha Ching.

Yet another: I sold and installed a landscaping project in a homes back yard.

Another stream; I sold my value in a Limousine service, I am working with them also.

Another stream: I am selling equipment, boat on Craig’s list and eBay.
I just launched an auction on eBay.

Another stream; I have a home I had bought to rehab, I am in the middle of that.

I have been self employed since 1979, creating is a great way of life!

Bob thank you for this challenge and all the effort you put Into us!! It is just what the doctor ordered. Dan.

    60. Eileen C Says:

This challenge has been quite revealing to me. I had to create a new blueprint for my use of time to fit the activities of it into a already saturated schedule. It took a lot of self discipline and thought restructure to move into these brand new areas for me. I have felt frustrated by the delayed gratification of it all. I have become used to the quick cash of my established source of income .All this time spent on slow, boring steps is really challenging my tolerance. I’m in Cincinnati this week for my traditional summer family visit, but the time off has given me enormous opportunity to make huge strids with this. I wrote an E book called A Wealth of Health for You. Yesterday I called Proctor and Gamble Corp. whose headquarters are here and asked about them putting advertisements in it. They want me to send my book proposal, etc. via website. I called Kroger Corp. (Ralph’s in California) also a local headquarters and spoke to their publicity dept. as well with same web plan for me to send my info. Today, I located a local book printer called Masterprint and found out costs and details of them printing it up. I was excited by this call because it makes it feel more real and the costs were much better than I expected as Ohio is cheaper than S. Cal.I thought I could sell them at a local swapmeet and give them a free blood pressure check with it just to generate money in case my internet aspect doesn’t get off the ground. I called a copyright attorney and found out about that aspect of this .He gave me tons of free advice and told me how not to have to pay him his usual $500 to do it when I asked him how I could do it without him. People here are really , really nice. I got some financing promised privately to be received this week, so I can put that on the hall of fame when I receive it. I called an insurance rep. about protection as I am a licensed person. She said I need Professional Liability, Error and Omission Insurance. She doesn’t know if it covers internet and will tell me tomorrow. I have a really bad feeling about this and am considering tanking the entire book or putting it off til I can have a way to present it as an entity instead of asa private person. Perhaps I’ll write another book and/ or go to plan B. I’m having a blast with all this!!! Thanks Bob. You were especially nice on this challenge call last night and had wonderful ideas as usual.

    61. Alicia Q Says:

I was so intrigued by the ideas of creative thinking. After I joined the challenge, I also started my language tutoring business, which has been always my passion, teaching other people about Chinese language and cultures. I knew the demand was there, because a lot of my friends asked me about learning Chinese, I just never thought about setting it up as a business and making profits out of it. By doing some simple advertising online, I got three students so far that I am teaching, they all come from different backgrounds and professions, I have learned a lot from them too. And quite interestingly, one of my students is a commercial broker, who wants to get more business from Chinese property owners and investors. Through the training with EWI in real estate, I can very easily translate his materials into formal Chinese for him to use in his presentations. And another advantage that I got is that I can learn so much from him about commercial real estate. What a treat! I get paid by sharing and learning. Things cannot be better.

I cannot thank enough for all the blessings that I have been given, so there is only one thing that I can do, is to help more people and give more. I even talked to the people in my church last Sunday about devoting more time to help with the church and community. I probably will start knocking on doors or calling people in my neighborhood to participate in ProtectMarriage to support Proposition 8, that would amend the California state constitution to ensure that only a marriage between a man and a woman would be legally recognized. I just feel so excited about all the good that I can do, and all the things that I can achieve in my life. Thanks again Bob, Janet and every trainers here with EWI.

      Hi Everyone,

This is the first time I’m writing on the blog.

I need to start by talking about my team - the Redwood Achievers - they are amazing!
Everyone has been on EVERY team call! Everyone (including Dan who wrote right above me here and June, one of the first people who wrote on this blog) is so focussed on this challenge and is doing great!

I started by sending an email to about 170 people about the challenge - asking them if they had anything they did not want or anything they wanted and did not have. I also asked them to recommend me as a consultant to anyone they knew who had medical bills they could not pay or high interest credit card debt.

As a result of that email, I did one consultation with a friend who asked me to teach her how to use a website = $100. and another friend asked me to find a buyer for a car he had that had “died” - I did and he let me keep the amount paid for the car - $350.00 Another friend offered me a product at a reduced price that I have been selling -I have made $419 so far.

Next I sent emails to all my European friends in Facebook asking them if they knew of a good European site where I could list some raw land I own in Texas - they did not have any suggestions for me. I have listed 2 tracts of my land on ebay so far and I’m hoping they will sell.

The next thing I did was to send out another email to the same 170 people with pictures of 15 of my paintings. This resulted in a lot of compliments - no sales yet - but some interest. Yesterday something I had listed on ebay sold - that brought me $103.

Today I sent out an email (to the same 170 people) with an idea I got SOMEWHERE :-) offering to teach them to paint. And about 2 hours later I got an email from someone (I met an an EWI retreat 2 years ago) who wants to learn from me! and will pay me $1000!! That brings my total up to $1972 so far.

Although there are only 2 weeks left, I plan to make 1000’s more.
This is really significant to me - what I have earned in the last 4 weeks is more than the total I had earned in all of 2008 before this challenge started.

I look forward to continuing this challenge after the 6 weeks - but also look forward to cleaning my apartment and doing my laundry, etc. again! I am so focused that many everyday chores are being put aside for now. :-) It feels so good to be this focussed.

And as June K who is in my group said on our last team call - she is giving up being discouraged (when she hits a “speed bump”) and is carrying through until it’s finished.
I feel the same way. This challenge is not just about how to make chunks of cash in 6 weeks - it’s making us develop money making muscles. Thank you, Mr. Miagi! Wax on!!

      Janet,

Thank you for taking the time to send the update, and the encouraging words. It is motivating to have a reminder and some inspirational examples to identify with, of those going through the same Challenge. Taking action, “failing forward”, as Bob put it, and understanding that all of this hard work will pay off nicely.

I believe I heard that you are pursuing some entrepreneurial ventures of your own. I would like to wish you also; the same inspiration, motivation, and determination in reaching your dreams!

      Hello Everyone!

    64. Eileen C Says:

I went to see a printer and got costs and looked at their bindings, etc. for printing for my book. The insurance agent said I cannot get professional liability insurance for an e book thus far, so I cannot release the one I wrote for this challenge. I will talk with JJ Childers at his classes next week about this. In place of that I am writing another book and setting up my website. I am also preparing to sell some items on ebay. Heading back to California now to continue this. I’m having a lot of fun with this!! Thank you for all the support. I will never give up.

    65. Kathy S Says:

Hello to everyone! I’d like to report my progress for the week.

This week we began the tele-series sales calls and combined the two calls generated $6,879.

Since my last report the membership site has generated total sales of $10,477.
Therefore, since last Wednesday, August 13th 2008 so far total sales generated with the wealthgiveaway project is $17,356. This is significant to me in more ways than I can express here.
The site is open for new members until midnight. And we have two calls next week which may generate more revenue.

The most rewarding part of this project is the people I’ve had a chance to work with, the team I’ve developed, the real knowing that this challenge creates the urgency which fuels a project like this and makes it happen no matter what. I now have an online business that is offering important solutions to real funding problems investors have and providing them with the best training and people to go to for more support. That is I’m putting them together with coaches, with mentors, with systems with training to help them go to the next level. Money is not always the only answer to the next level to their success. And to ours either.

I am so grateful to have decided to take this 6 week challenge. A heartfelt thanks goes to Bob Allen and the entire EWI staff. And to all my fellow challengers. I’ve been reading the other entries with interest. Thank you.

    66. Alicia Q Says:

      Hello all,

It’s been a wonderful journey since I enrolled in this challenge. Reading all the success stories and knowing there are so many like-minded entrepreneurs pursuing their dreams just like me, I feel so encouraged and inspired. Only one more week to go, no matter what, this challenge will be remembered by every one of the challengers.

Aaron, I have heard your interactions with trainers at a lot of teleclasses, and congratus on all your success. Although there is some temporary hurdle, but never give up.

Kathy, I feel so happy from the bottom of my heart for your online business success, and it also makes me realize the online business is doable. I am always interested in internet and marketing, with your encouragement, I may start doing something on the internet on a bigger scale too.

    67. Eileen C Says:

I have made some money and listed it on the Hall of Fame today. Very exciting!!

I’m setting up my website which is a blast. I’m writing another book which I LOVE doing and find easy to do.I’m getting ready to sell on e bay, too.

We had another group call last Thursday. It was at 1130 PM for me as I was in another time zone, but that was cool. .One person has had to make two trips to China for a family emmergency, but she still emails if she can’t make a call. I am very impressed by her dedication.I send them emails between the calls and they usually respond. We’re called the Challenge Masters.

I set up a personal challenge to lose 10 pounds during this and I’m almost there and am sure I will make it.Wow!

This is really a wonderful experience!! I’m so glad my path lead me to this organization. Thank you doesn’t begin to say how I feel about these exceptional people.

    68. Charlie F Says:

I am so humbled and grateful for all of your inspiring and thoughtful comments. This is truely a fantastic journey. Despite not yielding any financial profit this week, I have learned to be optimistically tolerant of the valleys while embracing and enjoying the peaks whenever they appear. As we near the end of this challenge, I keep sprinting as fast as I can to the finish-line.

Each of you are AWESOME and you have provided me with inspiration which turns into energy when I needed it the most…. Aaron, Jackie, Linda you are fantastic.

Such Honesty, Integrity and Persistence among other values, remain the hallmark of inner wealth which will sustain us beyond this challenge. With a few more days to go, what an exciting finish this will be.
Thank you for the opportunity to share.

    69. Cheryl L. Says:

Well, we are coming down to the wire! Each week seems to go by faster and faster! I must say that they do not call it a challenge for nothing! While I have not yet accomplished what I wanted to accomplish, I have found many ways that have not worked…at least at this time. The challenge is not over yet and I have not given up. I need to find what works for me and that will be success indeed.

Thank you all for your enthusiasm and progress reports. Now…onward and upward!
      Cheryl L.

This week had some disappointing sales but produced two great contacts and an adjustment to the way to list things on ebay or craigslist. I am inspired by the efforts and accomplishments of my fellow rich in sixers. All of you have helped me focus and have a brand new way of looking out side my box. I have high hopes for the future. Thank you all.

    71. Helen C Says:

I have sold my wedding dress that has been sitting in my closet for $600! I am now trying to sell other items I found at home on craigslist: Granite, electronics, accessories..etc! :) THank you!

Just came back home from the first day of Wealth Retreat, it was amazing. Werner Berger, at the age of 69 summitted the tallest mountain Mt. Everest in the world, becoming the oldest North American who conquered it. He is really living on his purpose and making a big difference to the world by all his work. What impressed me the most was the rewarding/recognition session. A lot of students never forgot to donate money or time to charities/churches after making millions of dollars of profits. Being connected to these groups of people, I feel so blessed. Can not wait to go back for the 2nd day of the retreat, because we are going to have lunch with Bob & Tom. See you there!!!!

    73. Karla G. Says:

Attended the ‘opening night’ of the retreat, what a wonderful experience. Dynamic speakers and of course great information. I loved the comparison that Werner gave showing the steps of the climb and the steps of growing a successful business. It does not happen overnight, be patient, do your training, get prepared and then make it to the top! Wow! The first six week challenge has gone by so fast. I made almost $400. selling some items on eBay. I am looking forward to the next challenge and to more learning and growth. Thank you Robert, Tom and all at the EWI for this opportunity! God bless and continued success to all the EWIers! I am excited about the rest of the retreat. It really is a ‘treat’ isn’t it!?

    74. Kathy S Says:

Well, hello everyone. I have loved reading about the other challengers and their advancement to the six week finish line. Each of us deserves recognition for our efforts what ever our final outcome. Congratulations to all. I too was at the opening night of the retreat and was moved by the awards ceremony and by the work that Caren has done after the loss of her husband and the scholarship program that has come to pass. What a fantastic tribute to the human spirit.
I have another chance to bring in some proffits to my efforts with wealthgiveaway tomorrow with a remarkable RE investor trainer who has a real-estate timing tool for investors to use for when to get in and when to get out of a market.
In terms of the benefits that my project has genreated. Here are just a few. All my joint venture partners who joined me rather blindly–(pun intended) I thank them. They trusted me and jumped right in. They had to. We didn’t have time to full around in this six week challenge. I’m so grateful for my project manager who has seen how we can be successful with a project even though we did not have time to properly nurture it. He thinks that given mor etime, it would have been much more profitable. Now he knows that sometimes we must sacrafice proffits for something bigger.
he has benefitted to by my endorsment of his skill and caring aproach. My members of the website have benefitted from the chance to recieve a way to make their dreams come true. Some of them will be coached by the best in the industry, paulie Sabol and Donna Fox. Everyone associated with this project are very special people and have made all of this possible.
so far my gross proffits are $26,011 from the membership site and from the product sales. On July 18th at the pre-event meeting I predicted that I would generate $25,000 I will meet and exceed this prediction. I’m amazed at this. Thank you Rober Allen for this challenge. Magical fantastic things have happend for everyone.

I’m pressing toward the mark for the higher calling, and standing on Gods’ promise for me. Thank you Robert Allen for your hard work and your belief in the word. I’ve aquired my first piece of property and await a buyer so I can flip it into cash. This is my final Rich in Six blog entry which is a before and after chronicle of this six weeks and what I’ve learned and what is to come. Thank you everyone for your support.
WHAT A SITE: SEEING MY WAY THROUGH AS A BLIND ENTREPRENEUR
I’m happily married. I’m a cross-country skier. I’m a spin instructor. I’m a successful entrepreneur. I am totally blind and have been since the age of two.
Even at the age of two, I was keenly aware that others viewed me as fundamentally broken because of my blindness. Those around me were surprised at the ordinary everyday things I did like getting around my house, or using good table manners. I knew they didn’t get it. I did not feel broken. In fact, I was far from broken. Even at the age of two, I knew that doing ordinary things as a blind child, or later as a blind adult, is simply doing ordinary things exactly as it is for a sighted person. Blindness has nothing to do with competency. We just find another way.
I believe that contemplating the loss of limbs, hearing, movement or sight is frightening to those who have not experienced it, with the loss of sight perhaps the most frightening and overwhelming of all.
I am here to tell you it is neither frightening nor overwhelming nor impossible to deal with. If it were, I would not be a successful entrepreneur and Stevie Wonder would not have countless #1 hits.
It is as natural for me to be blind as it is for you to be sighted. THAT is what needs to be understood. And then, forgotten. You see, I have spent much of my life in words and actions to educate against ignorance and fear. Even with those closest to me. It’s truly understandable to deal with ignorance from strangers. But the pain of being devalued by family is intolerable.
I am one of six and the eldest girl. There are 4 girls and 2 boys.

I grew up in a very dysfunctional family. My parents were not very sophisticated about life. I look back and realize today that there are always forks in the road and everyone has to choose which one they will take. One fork is always the status quo and the other one is always about learning and moving forward. The status quo in our home was living in fear and lack. My siblings and mother suffered years of emotional and physical abuse. My blindness sheltered me to a degree. As painful as it is to admit, my parents were ashamed of having a flawed child. My accomplishments were never recognized nor praised. They were only impressed when I could look and act “normal”.

As amazing as it might sound, it turned out to be a blessing to be blind in my family. It made me think differently from my siblings and so I have a much different life from them.

I got to be associated with fantastic organizations that provided things like summer camp. I went back-packing in the high Sierras every summer.

Having a physical limitation did not mean I had to have a mental one and it gave me a chance to think above my difficult environment to a much more pure space. If there was anything I knew for sure, it was that I did not want to carry over into my own life what I had experienced growing up. I was fortunate enough to come across people like Napoleon Hill whose writings have so inspired me and millions of others to the idea of limitless possibility no matter what. Finding this great writer confirmed for me that no matter what I might lack physically, it would be my thinking that would determine the quality of my life and that I could accomplish any thing I set my mind to.

It thrilled me to know what countless number of thinkers have said over the ages in so many different ways. What you think about, you bring about.
My driving desire for success has always been a little bit tied to “I’ll show you how it’s done”. And I’ll show you that I do have value and am valued by others.
What I now realize is that I have wasted time. I have been trying to change the thinking of people who do not want to change their thinking. I thought with the knowledge, wisdom and experience I have gained and the challenges I have met, that I could share this and help people do the same thing. Help change lives. Until now, I have not followed one of the most cardinal rules of being an entrepreneur. Choose the company you keep and choose it well.
I have something to teach because I have successfully done what I teach. I finally understand it is not up to me to try and make someone want success. It is up to me to choose people to work with who want to succeed in the first place.
I’m driven now to give to others providing solutions to those who really want this.
This six week challenge has showed me in a very deep fundamental way that, as an entrepreneur, I can take my desire to help others and help those who want to succeed via the business I have founded.
Now people, let me show you “extraordinary”. Let me show you “amazing”. Take a look at what I’ve done in Robert Allen’s six week challenge.
Before you hear about my latest success, wealthgiveaway.com, you should know that I am not an overnight success. I’ve explored many different ways to become outrageously successful.
I started as a teenager wanting a singing career. In my twenties I desired to have a radio talk show.
BTW…as a natural entrepreneur, I used other people’s money to fund these ventures.
Then I decided I should work in an office environment for awhile. I created and ran my own program. Because what I created became so successful, management left me alone. It started out with just me at 30 hours a week. My program provided an in home independent living skills training outreach system for seniors living with vision loss. Now, it has 5 full-time people working in it.
In 2002, through an organization called, Ski for Light, (SFL) I had the life-changing experience of learning how to cross-country ski, something I had always wanted to do. SFL is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to “change lives through fitness”. Hundreds of blind people have learned the sport through SFL. The motto of SFL is “if I can do this, I can do anything”.
And after this most challenging accomplishment, I began to understand that what was driving me and what fulfilled me was helping others to succeed. I began to understand that eternal question “What am I here to do”.
I was in my forties by then, and getting really clear about my life path. This was both exciting and at the same time gave me great peace of mind. I began to get really serious about doing something extraordinary that would inherently involve giving back
I’ve always been so blessed. Now it was time for me to not only share my wisdom and entrepreneurial experience to help others to succeed, but also, in a most practical way, to financially assist other worthy entrepreneurs and financially support projects I had developed using the money I had made. In fact, 10% of my cash generation from the Rich In Six challenge will go to Unitus and to Ski For Light.
After developing my successful program providing an in home independent living skills training outreach system for seniors living with vision loss, I became a consultant and got paid four times what I had previously been making. My biggest lesson here was learning that to become as successful as I was determined to be, it would be necessary to not develop my entrepreneurial ideas while in the employ of someone else. In fact, it became clear that a true entrepreneur is employed by only one person – themselves.
Along my entrepreneurial way, I began attending seminars created by top experts in the fields of powerful personal growth and modern transformational techniques from people like Bill Harris, Bob Proctor, and James Ray among others.
My husband and I got serious about non-traditional investing such as real-estate and stocks, etc. We experienced some substantial success by doing a lot of listening and learning.
Then earlier this year, I decided I wanted to start an internet business.
My first internet attempt was a complete failure. This is really important for anyone to know who wants to, or has attempted to start marketing on the internet. Real entrepreneurs don’t ever quit. They learn and keep moving forward.
The niche I chose for my first website attempt was a fitness review site because of my love and passion for fitness. It failed for 3 major reasons. First I did not have the right coach. Second, I had no serious collaboration. And third, there was no focus or urgency.
For example, an online contest came to my attention and, without much thought to whether it was in line with my vision or focus, I entered it. This got me off course.
Outrageous success requires time to prime the pump. It takes a good team, lots of collaboration, and a sense of urgency.
I cannot emphasize enough the importance of finding the right coach. People jump into internet marketing because they hear that a lot of money can be made. They are right. However, this does not happen and cannot happen by putting up a website. There is, in all truth, more to it than you can imagine.
Here is the big secret. Those people who have succeeded, have made all the mistakes and learned by trial and error. You, too, can do this. You can also expect to spend anywhere from 2 – 5 years learning what these successful marketers already know. And lose a fortune.
Or you can do what I did. Find and hire the right coach and when I say right, wait until you hear what happened to me in joining the Rich In Six Challenge after my miserable, initial failure with my fitness website, trying to do it on my own.
I don’t have the money you say? Seriously committed entrepreneurs find a way. They take on part-time jobs, they hold garage sales and they barter and negotiate. If you want something badly enough, lack of money will not stand in your way. It will require, however, believing to your DNA that whatever you need is on it’s way into your hands.
In the Rich In Six Challenge, I used Robert G. Allen’s philosophy about business.
It is a simple one. Find someone who has a need, something they do not have, then take that ‘something’ and provide it to them.
The need. Real-estate investors as a group need money to fund their deals.
Solution. A membership site that offers private money partnering.
This is the kind of solution people dream about. Thus, wealthgiveaway.com was born.
This membership model will make it possible for entrepreneurs, who have profitable deals, to bring them to reality by using my money to grow their wealth.
It’s a gift that keeps on giving because I grow my lending money too. When the loan gets repaid, I have more money to lend to more people. It becomes perpetual. A perpetual giving machine.
THE RICH IN SIX CHALLENGE AND HOW WEALTHGIVEAWAY,COM WAS BORN:
The website and the idea were literally created from thin air. The income generated came from no product, no prior list, no joint venture (JV) partners, no personal contacts, no technical assistant, only a burning desire, propelled by a 6 week deadline.
All I had were two goals. A desire to generate a chunk of cash in a strict 6 week period, and the strong hope of emerging as the Robert G. Allen winner. At that moment, reaching my goals seemed as challenging as Mount Everest itself. Quite formidable.
So, on Monday morning, July 21st, the 6 week challenge began. My coach and I met to brainstorm some ideas which clarified that it would be in the area of real-estate, and it would be an internet project built around the idea of “give first, receive later”.
      MY NARROW TIMELINE:
I had 2 weeks to find the technical support, write the copy, and compile a list of joint venture JV partners.
After that first early morning meeting with my coach, I was left with the daunting task of finding someone to handle the technical aspects. The climb began. And I had no idea when it would end. This part of the climb ended up taking 5 days and about that many people before I found Richard Osterude who liked my project and on Saturday, July 26th agreed to be part of my team.
This massive accomplishment had to be in place by August 4th. JV partners had to be wrangled in to contribute. Without the JV partners, we’d have no giving, no way to build a list, no one to purchase useful products.
This part of the challenge was like deciding to throw a lavish party in two weeks at a beautifully appointed un-built home. And the house had to be built before the party guests arrived.
So, we got the house built, but then week 3 began and so did the steepest climb of all. On August 4th, I had to take my list such as it was and begin wrangling in my JV partners. Without JV partners willing to refer their subscribers to the site, put up a free product, and be willing to participate in a teleconference series, I had no way to generate members, or cash. Without convincing JV partners that their subscribers would find value and benefit at my site, there would be no members to promote to. JV partners are the life blood of ventures like this.
Oh, and they had to act quickly and keep up with the blistering pace of the six week challenge. Again, urgency, collaboration, and team work rule.
The site was launched 23 days after the challenge began on August 13th.
Launch day was full of unexpected surprises. The biggest one was when I spoke to Richard around 8:00 AM pacific time. He announced that the site was not only converting at a solid 9.2 percent, but that I’d already generated $1,000.
I will never forget that moment. You see, up until then, I was working mostly in my head. I only had a goal and nothing tangible except for the partners and the website. Of course this was a huge accomplishment, but since I had no prior success attracting subscribers or sales, I was utterly thrilled to get results so quickly. It seemed like magic.
Having a coach meant that I did not have to spend 2 to 5 years learning how to market online. I was able to get on a very fast track, find out how to do it right, and within very few months from my first failure, I was getting amazing results.
The 13th of August marks the first day I made money on line, and the first day I had my first list of subscribers which came from my JV partners contacting their lists to come to my website. Developing a list is key to succeeding on the internet and there I was, starting out without a single name, and ending up with a terrific list. But, at the core of all of this is that it’s truly not about the money. It was that I see how business enterprise can work. If people need what you are offering, then magic is created. Very powerful and very meaningful.
So, that first day we generated $3,000 and I had my very first list of over 1,000 people. My final number of subscribers is 1,772 and with gross profits of $30,000. The project and the ground work took 23 days to set up. The list and the profits were accomplished in 19 days.
I reflect now on the great feeling that I’m going to be instrumental in helping others fulfill their dreams in such a concrete way and, at the same time, I’m making my dreams of being of value to others come true too.

Wow Now What a week! The JJ Childers Asset Protection workshop was phenomenal! Tim, the attorney and Brent, the accountant were so brilliant. I have already started to do some of the things they suggested. I wasn’t able to use my book for this challenge, but got some great advice from them regarding it.

The Wealth Retreat was wonderful thus far. Bob talked about seeing life problems in a positive light and thinking of the past in a different way when viewing events we didn’t like. It affected me enormously .His concept of the valley of disillusionment is so real to me. I liked the way he put together the complete wealth strategies and the need for real estate and the multiple streams of income to get to true financial freedom. I saw that in a new way that night and really GOT IT maybe for the first real time. The charity lunch for Unitus was a highlight of the retreat. Today I listened to Jeff speak on real estate. It was his best presentation ever. I came home and stated taking action immediately.

On this challenge I have taken steps never before taken and learned so much on the calls. I am still working on the set up of my website etc. which is new for me. I took about 30 steps toward an e book even though I couldn’t release it. I went out of my box and asked people to let me do things I have never done before. I asked to get a part in a movie, went all over my house to look for things to sell on eBay and started work on a site, advanced my computer skills with Coach Kat and Daryl. I did provide some solutions to others problems and asked the want/don’t want questions. I started the process and for that I feel really good.

Next challenge watch out! This was about taking action for me and I did that. My group has been awesome and I am grateful for .the new friends I made in it. Thank you Bob, Tom and the others. See you on the next challenge!!

Today is the last day of the wealth retreat, and this is the first time that I attended it. The experience was amazing. Everyone was so connected, and I can feel the energy inside of the room. We networked with each other, we encouraged and congratulated each other, and we supported each other. I have never attended one single seminar like our wealth retreat. All the speakers were so wonderful, and one of my Ahah’s was that I learned the highest form of selling, which is giving and caring, which is under promising and over delivering. Thanks again for all the efforts!!!

There is another thing that I was trying to try to make money and what is FOREX. I have been always intrested in reading the news and looking and figures but never tried as I have heard you loose money. Anyways I after really good review and thought I tried a website and became a member. The minimum deposit was just $300 for the start so I said lets try and see what happens. I have been doing it now for almost 10 days and have made a total profit of almost $245. This does not mean that I just made profit I lost as well, but the total net profit is $245. Its some thing risky I would say but just for a little money down and with a bit review and reading few things I say we can make a good money for few good things. I hope and wish I can make more money out of it. Thanks

I have struggled for years with “selling.” The idea of asking someone to buy something has been difficult. Even when I know that the product or service is of value to them, I have felt uncomfortable.

It wasn’t always so. When I was in grade school, I had a Kool-Aid and popcorn stand. On another occasion, I went around the neighborhood to tell people about a magic show I was performing. Later, I went door-to-door throughout the neighborhood selling Christmas cards and stationery over a period of two or more years. Perhaps it was the latter experience. I have looked back and wondered if people bought from me “to help out the little guy.”

Many years later, I tried various business ventures that required selling and, although I have found it a bit easier recently, I still felt something holding me back. There was an uncomfortable feeling in asking someone to buy something from me. And I wasn’t attempting to make very many sales.

I recently listened to Robert Allen’s Empower Yourself. I remember him briefly mentioning that neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) had been helpful to him. NLP is a way of increasing awareness and bringing about desired changes in thought and behavior.

I went to the library and checked out a book and an audio set on NLP. I have seen an increase in awareness, with respect to my surrounding environment and especially in relation to my thinking about my personal experience. I realized that, in thinking about sales, I had thoughts in the back of my mind that the person I was speaking with might buy to “help out the little guy” or because they felt a sense of obligation to help me because of our existing relationship (as far as I can recall, my best customers as a kid going door-to-door were those who knew me). Those were two motivations for buying that I was not comfortable with. For me to present a situation where those motivations might cause a person to buy made me uneasy, feeling like I was taking unfair advantage of a relationship, regardless of whether or not the product or service was something they valued.

I realized these thoughts that were holding me back were a carryover from my earlier selling days. I was carrying the thoughts related to my experiences of “me as a kid selling door-to-door” into each and every current sales experience, without being conscious of it. BUT I WAS NO LONGER THAT KID! This was a breakthrough. I realized that I was presenting something of value to my potential customers and that, if they bought, it would be because THEY saw value, not because I was presenting “unacceptable and unfair influence” to convince them to buy. (If, perchance, someone did buy because of our relationship, that would be THEIR choice, not because I was using it as leverage.) By discarding that image of “me as a kid” as no longer being relevant, I was freed to be able to communicate with prospective customers and let them make up their own mind about the sale.

This is not just a “theoretical” victory. That enlightenment occurred a little over a week ago. Since that breakthrough, I have been comfortable speaking with others about “what I do” and what value I can offer them. Gone are the uncomfortable feelings and it is now easy to talk about the opportunities I can provide. This morning after talking with a lady at church, she asked me for my card because she has a friend going through foreclosure. Two weeks ago, this wouldn’t have happened. But now, because of talking about the opportunities I can provide, I may be able to help out this person’s friend. And make a living in the process. This is just the beginning!

As a whole group thank’s Bob, Janet, Tom, Kat, Daren, Mark and everybody involved.

Made 4 offers on proerties: 2 are in process, one was accepted, and after due diligence, declined property, one offer in Colorado was rejected. One of the properties we are negotiating on, we offered 3 vehicles as part of purchase price. We are cancelling a Building Permit for return of $15,000 in Permit Fees. We looked at 3 more properties out of state, we spent 4 - 6 hours a day searching for properties, we are placing our primary residence in MLS with a Broker. We are renovating a little farmhouse on 3 acres, ready for insulation and rock. We extended the lease on a rental. We contacted 2 auto wholesalers. Both were starving and very negative about the industry, both have been in the business over 10 years each. We negotiated with 2 Bird Dogs, one for motorcycles and one for commercial property. We purchased a sea crate for cash instead of paying for monthly mini-storage,–can sell when done, we had 3 subcontractors estimate work for us, we completed moving out of our primary residence. We are going to the State Fair to prospect for JVs ala Jay Abraham. We signed up 2 downlegs in MLM program. We signed up for Jay Abraham seminar in Los Angeles in September.

The Rich In 6 Challenge was over, but my journey to pursue my dreams just started. I have never felt so free, free to learn, free to help, and free to live the kind of life I always cherish. This 6 week is one of the most unforgettable days in my life so far, plus the wonderful experience at Wealth Retreat. As an EWI student, I am not only learning about real estate and other businesses, I am being taught how to live a fulfilling life. Those speakers at the retreat, those students who have succeeded all set good examples of living a life on purpose. All these blessings come from my faith in my heavenly father, come from the obedience to do the right things even I had my confusions in mind.

While learning a wealth of knowledge, I have not yet seen the cash return. From my efforts, an auction on eBay produced $30. But, I have grown and the wealth that I feel inside, from this experience, will sweeten the financial freedom which surely, lies ahead.

I have taken some risk, and taken some inventory. Inventory of myself, and my attributes. I believe that I learned another little something about myself through, watching you all take action, from a similar circumstance, as challengers. I cheer your persistence, and thank you for your motivation sharing.

      Thank You all.

    87. Maryann W Says:

Today I listened to the Rich in 6 challenge and I am going to do EVERYTHING that I need to do to be able to KICK THIS PROGRAMS BUTT!!!

I am going to do EVERYTHING they require of me and I am going to fill some dreams I have, I have a list of things I need to do to get ahead in life and I am doing so so but I am totally not in the spot I want to be in.

The conference stuff was VERY confusing mostly how to get on the conference call and stuff this week, the eBay thing etc, I guess I can make time for MYSELF AND FOR my homework. I have a son I am working to get to a class he needs to take in a few weeks to start his life (he just graduated and needs to do something with his life so I will help him to do this and than I have an exchange student from Serbia this year that has been in here 3 times for some help on a homework project about America (its a sad thing even I have to look up the stuff) I vow to open my head and learn. I have learned a lot in life, I have had 3 different exchange kids one from Belarus, one from Ukraine and now L from Serbia, the things I have learned having exchange students is how LUCKY in America we are!! this TRUELY is the land of opportunity and I just need to open my head now and use it.

I know that this program rich in 6 weeks is going to help me, I don’t know WHY but it has a few other times I just haven’t been consistent in my transactions and stuff. I have several properties and I don’t know how I did it really mostly it was just listening to others out there telling me NOT TO BE AFRAID just JUMP IN)

    88. Adam H Says:

Hello everyone! and welcome to the rich in 6 challenge.

I hope you are as excited to change your destiny as I am! I wanted to write a little bit on here about the kick off call last night for Rich in Six. There were a few bugs, mainly with people getting onto live meeting. What I would like to do, with the blessing of those who run rich in 6, Is to create a walk through for both windows xp, and vista and for those so inclined Linux. This will help people get on easier and learn the material faster so then you can change your future.

I’m a computer engineer who knows live meeting inside and out, and I can create a simple easy to follow guide to get on. Remember this challenge is about helping others if you have a certain skill that someone may not.

What I will do Is post it to my website within a day or so to help people.

So why am I doing this challenge? Or if people wanted to know a bit more about me.

I’m doing this challenge in conjunction with another challenge called body for life. I want to change everything around me so that I can help others live their life to the fullest. I want to set out and show people that rich or poor, bad credit or not you can change anything you want, you just have to think you can. I choose to think and grow rich! I hope you do as well!

The purpose of this program that I am doing is to become an enlightened millionaire. I want to create a program to show people how to repair your credit and live in true abundance. I know this first hand because I ruined my good credit while I was at school purposely so that I would have to rebuild my life ( a bit destructive I realize, but a great learning curve)

I was on the verge of bankruptcy and I had $40,000 In debt ( mainly student debt) last November. My credit score dove from a 700 down to 410. I then made a choice to come back from the dead. I have paid off $19,000 of my debt so far, and my credit has gone up to about 500. However taking the steps in this program I intend to get my credit about 250 points higher, Within 6 months. This Program will do what you want it to, provided you listen and apply the materials being learned.

My other challenge, Body for life, is a 12 week intensive weight and diet program to push myself beyond the laws I currently know possible. I want to be the best I can in all areas, that is physical, mental and spiritual. Between the 3 of these I will become someone completely new.

I wish all of you from the sincerity of my heart the best in this challenge and whatever you decide to tackle in Life.

If any of you need the energy boost to get through the tough, I will try to motivate you and push you to succeed. Just remember, change your mind, change your life!

      Hi Everybody!

(I noticed that I just left a message on the Real Estate blog, instead of this one!! Can you tell this is my first RichInSix Challenge?:)))

Anyway, just wanted to wish you all “best of luck”! We have RAI and support from each other, so we do NOT need luck, but still…

Also, I am not in a group right now and would love it if I can join one. I am in (west) Los Angeles, if it matters…

Deborah (whom I met couple weeks ago at the Enlightened Wealth Retreat in Anaheim and was part of the previous challenge), if you’re part of this challenge, too and you peeps have room for one more member, please let me know!

      Take care you all!

So here we are day 3 of the rich in 6 challenge.

It has been crazy in only 3 days so far.
It seems as if by magic I am coming into all these deals.
I have signed up my ebay account, and my website with ewi multiple streams which is northwinds.properties.ewimultiplestreams.com

I have found a mentor locally who is teaching me what i need to know in terms of flipping properties over a 3 month period. Its like a real estate apprentice course. I think this is going to work out very well. The first meeting is tomorrow.

I have also gotten a potential contract to make a website for a son of someone that I work with. I want to teach him how to use the internet to make passive income from his site using google ad sense, ebay auction ads and amazon. He will also be selling the merchandise online from his site. I have to design his site with a checkout capabilities. If he accepts it My goal is to get him 3 - 4 income streams from his website, all while helping him sell his merchandise on ebay for a split in his cost.

I havent made any money yet, but it will come and soon, I can feel it.

Rise up people! if you set your mind to this you can do it! Think and grow rich :)

    91. Shawn H Says:

Hello everyone!! I am making my first post and am very excited about having started the Rich in 6 Program. I feel I have a lot of catching up to do…trying to get all of the bugs worked out of my computer system. Ever since I read the book,” The One-Minute Millionaire” my life has started to turn around.

Two weeks ago my college roomate came into town and turned me onto the book. I have always been a procrastinator when it came to reading books, but I COULD NOT PUT THIS ONE DOWN!! I read the book in 2 days! I decided then I was going to change my life for the better!

My life has not been horrible my any means, but I’ve gone through some rough patches caused mainly by myself and BAD choices. Missing work, burning bridges, and not forcing myself to my potential are some of the main reasons I’ve suffered the past couple years.

I have started different companies since I’ve been in college, and always something seemed to make them fail. ME. I truly think I was afraid of success and that I might actually have to work at it. After business after business failure I entered the REGULAR work force delbing into occupations such as telcom and finance, but failed there as well.

Just recently, I began to realize my strengths and knowing truly what I was good at and that was creating and thinking up great business models. My weakness however was keeping the businesses going. I began looking for HELP and sarting to understand that I could not do it all myself. That was a very ENLIGHTENING moment for me realizing that I could be successful and maintain a business with a DREAM TEAM.

I know that I have deep imperfections, but this book and this challenge has energized me beyond a point I could have never imagined. Last weekend I was $288 overdrawn in my bank account, and I had to move onto a friends couch, but somehow I KNOW IT IS GOING TO BE OK!!! I have revitalized a company I started a few years back with a promising light, and have been brainstorming ideas for the Internet, Real Estate, and even a book!

I know I need to concentrate on catching one rabbit at a time, so by tomorrow I will know.

I am truly exicted about this challenge and wish everyone the best of luck…Wait, I take that back I don’t wish any of you luck. Let’s put what we’ve learned to the test, take charge and work hard for what we will all earn!! Winning the lottery is LUCK, the Rich in 6 program is FATE!

    92. adam H Says:

      Hey all

Here is an update from what I’ve done so far. I met with a real estate agent last night and he has agreed to give me first look at foreclosures, bank owned properties and tax sale properties, as well as houses that are “as is”. I hope that within a couple weeks I can start purchasing some real estate , depending on my pre-approval. ( I’m going to have to be creative because my credit rating is currently rebuilding)

I also have a couple ideas for some products, which I’m currently developing. maybe Something will come out of them, who knows.

The other thing I’m working on is I listed my Bowflex on eBay last night as well … I don’t need it and its taking up space so its got to go. I’m getting rid of my computers as well. Depending on when they sell I’ll put more stuff up and use the cash from that to finance a flip, all while giving to charity.

Its crazy giving the fact that I only sleep 5 hours a day. I work full time and when I’m not working, I’m taking courses through here or reading to make myself better.

I have been behind on a couple classes, so I’ll have to play catch up over the next couple days but everything will be caught up by the weekend.

I wish you all the best, may you be blessed with abundance

      Adam

    93. Patricia W Says:

I am too excited to be a part of this challenge. I have identified a rooming house with 12 tenants that pay weekly rent. I anticipate making an offer next week. The property is a brick structure in need of repairs, but it is fully occupied.

On another historic hotel property that I have, which is in the name of a corporation that is inactive. I plan to transfer the property to a separate LLC, will that qualify as a valid transaction in this challenge?

I am having a great time, this is everything I have prayed for, and I am loving it.

    94. Frank J Says:

      Hello guys,

This is the Nothing Down Alien. This 6 week challenge is a real challenge! We only have 6 weeks and this is already the 5th day. But I am off to a good start. As a matter of fact I have 3 offers accepted. On one property I can take over the existing financing (subject 2 deal) and I purchased 2 properties from another seller on a contract for deed. I have been working with this seller for quite a while. I also listed another property on eBay, and I have a fixer upper for sale. I know how to find a property and can get it under contract. My focus now is marketing & sales. I have to learn how to get rid of them. Get a good deal, give a good deal. I want to thank the two mentors who helped me the most in the past couple of months, Mark H and Lorenzo S. Brilliant mentors. I encourage all my other fellow students to listen as much as possible to the calls and remember that successful people do two things: they educate themselves and they take action! Good luck!

    95. Shawn H Says:

Hey everyone. Just giving you a staus update. Everything is starting to come together!! I wrote a letter to a group of people in my network looking for a mentor, and about ten minutes later I got a response from a guy I’ve only known for about a month. He is a self made millionaire that is going to take me under his wing and help me along to my enlightened millions.

All I had to do was put myself out there, think positive and it came true!! Yesterday he invited me to a champagne networking event at his house, and I met even more people willing to take a chance on me. I was a bit nervous walking into the house, but after I left I was full of positive energy and confidence.

Tomorrow I am going to his house to discuss my master plan, and the next steps I need to take.

PUT YOURSELF OUT THERE AND GOOD THINGS WILL HAPPEN FOR YOU!!!!

    96. Debra Jo B Says:

Just wanted to post our update for the RICH IN SIX challenge. My son JJ and I were super inspired after listening to Bob and Tom’s first challenge meeting. We have put our heads together and have had some incredible ideas for making BIG money.
I sent out a sipmle email to close friends that asked “Do I HAVE or KNOW anything that YOU would pay money for??!! and then I explained our challenge. Immediately I got two great responses…
The first said she really wished I could teach her how to have a kind and grateful kid - like mine. I called her and we talked at length…and I came up with a program she was super excited about and I believe wil be a great asset to anyone with kids or grandkids who feel entitled. The next few hours I spent outlining the 2 CD’s content, bought GrowingGratefulKids and GrowingGratefulGrandkids.
JJ (my great kid) will pick 12 activites that we have done together that he feels impacted his life, and help me write the workbook that will go along with the package. He is also going to offer his two DVD’s for our BONUS gifts - “Secrets of a 13 Year Old Real Estate Investor” and “Florida Flippers - How 4 Teenagers Filpped Their First House” We hope to have it online and for sale by Sept. 30th. Because JJ has had such great exposure through the media about his big bike giveaways every year (www.jjbright.com) I think there will be a good buzz about our program. We are trying price points this week but want it to be under $50 for everything.
Then the second email that came in was a friend who has multiple properties for sale - and he wanted to know how I always get my properties sold so fast. In this market - that is a tough answer SOO I said - “How about I option your property for $1 for 6 weeks” and see if I can get it sold. He agreed and I then sent out a MASS email to everyone I know saying -”I want to sell your property in the next 6 weeks - Call me to see if you qualify” and the response has been AMAZING!! I have gotten 3 options - one on 270 vacant lots in Los Lunas, NM that I can sell for $2500 per lot and still make my six figures. SOO that is our second big push. I have never done an option before so I got out my copy of “Nothing Down For The 200’s” and read pages 187-202 - THANKS BOB - and I am loving this new strategy. I bought DealsinNM.com and will have that up and running soon.
SO - WE LOVE THE CHALLENGE and we SO look forward to making a positive cash flow in these negative times!!!
Wishing lots of great deals for everybody!!

Hi everyone. It’s been a week since our first kick off meetting for this part of the challenge. In some ways I feel like I have some great momentum and in another way, I feel like I’m starting all over.

I’ve taken action this week. My goals for genreating a 6 figure chunk of cash is to structure a loan of some kind, and to begin development of some other profitable websites. So, the first thing I’ve done is a conversion of $50,000 from a traditional IRA to a Roth IRA. I’ll have access to this money this Friday.

Getting ready for the weekly Bob Allen call. When I get my first prospect for a website idea or a good prospect for a loan I will let you know.

    98. Bob W. Says:

I’m looking to join or build a team in Chicago or the Midwest area for the challenge. My website is freewayenterprises.ewimultiplestreams where you can find a phone number and an email address.

Also I’m looking for private money for 2 deals I’m putting together. If anyone has any contacts, I’d appreciate it.

    99. Jane L Says:

This is the first time I am reading the blogs and I applaud those like Adam H and Shawn H who have done so much already! After the first week,’s series of calls, I’m feeling very exhausted, mentally and physically. Does anybody else feel the same?

This week I’m going to seriously follow Robert’s advice to “chase one rabbit at a time!”. I just started with the Real Estate mentoring program, (with 16 more sessions to go) so for this challenge, I have decided to seriuosly learn how to create another stream of income . Internet Blogging. with Coach Kat. I am feeling my way through slowly, having registered a domain with a webhosting company. Eagerly waiting for Wednesday’s class with coach Kat.

Is anyone interested in forming a team to make sure that we do catch this speedy Internet Rabbit?

    100. Bill U Says:

Hey everyone this is my first post. Sounds like everyones doing pretty well so far. Been having problems finding properties even though there are literally thousnds of potentials in my area. The good news even though I dont have any local properties., I have had three people call me as interested buyers. All have credit issues but hard cold cash to put down.

Tommorow I am going to look at a potential property to buy, information was given to me buy a lady who manages homes for winter residents. She stated ARV around $135k but is quite sure owners will take less than 70k and would probably carry financing.

Being a part of this challenge is great! The best part is seeing everyone elses successes!

By the way if anybodys interested I have a fixer property for sale in Indianapolis IN., will carry financing with small down.

I’m ROOTING for everyone involved in ths Rich In Six program to be super successful … GO TEAM GO!!!

    101. Carol B Says:

      Hi!
I’m getting a slow start with the Rich in Six Challenge and would like to get involved in a team. This has been one my ongoing challenges - not using teams or masterminds. So if any of you, after reading more about what I’m working on below, are interested, please let me know.

My intention for the Rich in Six Challenge is to finally establish an online business and gain profit of at least $5,000. I have been procrastinating and allowing things to interfere with this for years. Last year about this time I enrolled in the Prosper training and never completed the process of getting my website operational. Yes, there were a variety of things that got in the way. And I’ve been paying for that with severe financial hardship over the past months. This is my opportunity to use that investment and resources to finally succeed.

I am struggling with deciding on a clear focus for a blog and business. That’s the reason for the slow start with this challenge. To do the steps in the process, I need to have that. Information overload has been killing me!

I’d love to hear from others doing the Internet challenge. And any suggestions for getting focused so I can move forward would be most appreciated!

    102. adam h Says:

Hey everybody! I hope you are doing well !

I have had a tremendous week ( which is why i havent been able to blog) I Hooked up with a mentor and he is teaching me how to wholesale homes. Basically we find distressed homes and get an investor to buy their property, while getting us an assignment fee usually anywhere between 5000 - 7500

Since I am in canada the rules are a bit different but none the less money can be made.

I have made $580 so far, off ebay. Im a bit behind on the course work because Ive had to fix some computers but its done . Now I have the focus to get everything done.

In the past day 3 days I have posted 70 ads on 30 sites and I have 6 investors and 3 real estate agents interested in doing deals. Im working with mortgage brokers so I can get the financing i need for investors if they require it. Im having a meeting call with my mentor tonight to get more focused.

I wish you all the best in success with this challenge. It is my goal that I will work with Robert allen personally, If not then through his program.

This program is going to teach you how to be successful and have abundance in every area, financial, mind, body , spiritual.

If someone tells you you cant do it, dont listen to them! you can do anything you place your mind to. !

      good luck everyone :)

WOW! I just made my first E-Bay sale. It was $5.99 but it was a sale non the less. I have several things there and have been using short auctions to generate the faster cash. I continue to find more “stuff” to put on E-Bay and hope that some more of it will sell soon.

I have my EWI Real Estate site up with one property and have the same property listed on E-Bay and the two sites are linked. Jake has been wonderful in explaining how this all should work. I also put the property on Craig’s list.

I have also been hit with a small eye problem but am staying strong and working around it.

All of this is new to me, but as Robert said,
“No time to learn it…just do it!”

      Keep at it everyone!

Here’s my question to all of you.

Who wants to make a team???

On Monday’s call Robert challenged us to form teams
of 5, to meet once weekly, to help one another,
      and to achieve team success.

      Let’s do it!!

Write me ASAP and let’s get moving on this portion
of the ‘Rich In Six Challenge’.

We can meet over Skype. I’ll help you get set up
if you don’t know how to do it.

      To everyone’s success,

      Daniel

    105. Bill U Says:

      Hey!!

How’s everyone doing? Hope everyone is progressing along at the pace they expected. As for me it’s been a little slow of late. So that means I’ve got to step it up!
If you have the time I just made my first posting on my wesite blog. Relating to our current economic chrisis and how it can effect us as real-estate investors.

“We all may face adversities during this challenge, but keep in mind its just an opportuinty to flex the muscle between your ears”

      Hello All!

Just sharing a thought that I found helpful..
in “Nothing Down for the 2000s”, Bob refers to having the focus and precision of a beam of sunshine through a magnifying glass. I paraphrased a bit, but the concept is the same.

Thanks for the reminder Debra Jo!

Let’s all remember that there is an arsenal of techniques and opportunities, but we only need to pull the trigger on one!

Grab a technique that matches YOU and take ACTION!

      Good Luck everyone!

      Aaron

    107. Shawn H Says:

Hey everyone…So I went to my mentor’s house the other day, and man the ball is really rolling now!! I told him my idea for my website and it absolutely blew him away!! I was like Alec Baldwin in the movie,”Glen Gary, Glen Ross.” I sold my idea as if there was no tomorrow!! If you haven’t seen the movie…rent it!! My mentor is going to fund my project and we will have the website up and running in about 4 weeks. I hope I have enough time…..

I also got a call from a production manager wanting to interview me because of my business that I just recently revitalized.

Things are really starting to take off! I think the hardest part is realizing that I am becoming successful and that I have no more EXCUSES to hide behind! That is one of the biggest obstacles to overcome.

    108. Shawn H Says:

One more thing.,..FORCE YOURSELF TO COME AND READ THE BLOG SECTION EVERYDAY!!! I KNOW IT SEEMS LIKE SUCH A TASK, BUT READ THE STORIES, BECOME INSPIRED. Even if I don’t make a single dime, hopefully my story will inspire someone else!!!

I have been trying to make it a habit of turning off the TV in the morning(all negative anyways) and reading positive qoutes from a book.

    109. Kathy S. Says:

Hi all! Wednesday the 24th I found my Rich in Six team. Although we have not met yet by phone, I’ve talked with Aaron several times already and can tell that we are a group of strong contendres. I’ve been listening to the real-estate mentoring calls with Mark and perhaps can do a quick deal in the next 4 weeks. I have a vacant property right now in Elgin TX that perhaps I can find a person who would like to rent to buy. Or simply sell it. It’s a small condo. I’m also talking with a real-state investor who has some real big commercial deals that may or may not flesh out. So, lots of things going on. The bail outs and economic crisis is certainly an interesting back drop to all of this. Huh? Frankly, this will make the infomercial and the book even that more compelling.

    110. Shawn H Says:

      Carol,

I read your entry and I had the same problem. PROCRASTINATION!!
I sat down and wrote a letter looking for a mentor and no more than 10 minutes after I had sent it out on email, someone I had met only a month before offered to help me.

People love to help, all you have to do is ask… That was my hardest problem, I always thought I could do it all myself. That is just not the case.

As far as a team, sell them your DREAM!! Where do you see yourself in a few months? I see myself on the beaches of Mexico, with my family, and closest friends while I diligently work from my laptop and continue to build my empire. After a hard days work from pool side I will write a few checks to my favorite charity, and then take my girlfriend out on the town in Los Cabos for a night of fun and entertainment.

Make your DREAM as detailed as possible!! Don’t be afraid to have everything you ever wanted!!

    111. Mike S Says:

      Hi Everyone,
Wow everyone is off to a fast start. But of course with 6 weeks and one already you have to. My focus is and always has been Real Estate. I am an architect and the Central Valley of California is full of deals that will benefit from a designers eye. All it takes is doing what others will not. Most people will not go into the neighborhood and talk to neighbors (AKA sellers). They are full of information and will share it with you after you build rapport.

I have already purchased (last night on the hood of their car in the dark) one property from a caller in the neighborhood. Owner financing with no money down and will close in three weeks. In fact I left the property with a signed contract, the garage door opener and the keys to the house. There are a couple more to talk to. So be friendly - remember you are there to help people out of a bind.

I wish all a great success!!!

    112. Rose Says:

Bill U I hope you list your fixer-upper on craigslist and eBay.

I am working with the real estate stream, actually trying to contact sellers. I am looking for both single family and multifamily properties. I have also started working on blogs - one based on pain control ( I am a nurse) and the other raising creative kids.

    113. Evelyn Says:

      Hello everyone,
Today is Saturday, Sept 27. Close to 2 weeks had past after the Rich in Six Challenge kicked off. How fast time flies, huh. Anyhow, I have not made money yet since then but I am making progress, thanks to the challenge. I have teamed up with a realtor who is now actively working with me in looking for properties of interest. I was able to see one property which turned out to be on POS. I am still doing my due diligence right now,

Since I work from home, I also decided to join the Internet challenge. It takes a while to pick a topic since I am kind of jack of all trade, master of none. I have to do an inventory of skills and hopefully be able to get my blog up and running before the next conference call.

I am hoping to hook up with a team from Canada. I am from Ontario and if there’s anyone who have started or planning to start a team up north, please let me know. I know ADAM H. is from Canada. Hi Adam! What province are you in Canada? Anybody else from Canada?

      Wish you all success!

    114. Danika Says:

      Hi Everyone,

My first blog response EVER. Thanks to everyone who has been sharing their successes and input–some great stuff happening out there! I thought I’d hop on and give a little progress report too.

First, I’ve been an EWI protege for several years, and I’ve had a number of successes, although I’ve never truly focused 100% on making that million dollars. I’ve worked with my brother as business partner, and between the two of us, we’ve got 6 rental properties, and our own homes (about $830K property value total; all before the R.I.S. challenge). I’ve also made about $150K in profit selling a fix/flip, a rental, and my own home in the last four years.

Right now, we have two properties to sell, which I will get up on our website and eBay this week. (One is a 2BR/1BR duplex in east TN, and the other is a 3BR/1.5BA twin in eastern PA.)

During that time, I’ve also written and published a book, (How To Be a Dog Psychic: Learn to Communicate with Your Pet), put up a website for it, HowToBeADogPsychic, began to teach workshops, and am now looking at doing online workshops and ebooks. My ability to do these things came directly out of my ewi training.

I’m turning 50 in December, and have finally found the true passion of my life: I want to use my ewi training and real estate investing to fund a non-profit organization dedicated to educating the people of the rural Tennessee county where I live about proper pet care, and the need for spaying and neutering. I want to fund a low-cost mobile spay/neuter clinic for the area as well. I’m meeting tonight with the core group to actually get that started. I want to start with at least $100,000 to fund the paid positions, so I have a big goal for my Rich in Six challenge.

Once again, my brother is partnering with me, as well as another friend–and they both are participating in the R.I.S. challenge too. I can’t say that we’ve made any big bucks in the first couple of weeks–I’m guilty of “chasing too many rabbits”–a habit I’ve had for a very long time. We’re all working on learning new things and making better choices with how we spend our time, and look forward to making big things happen in six weeks!

I have asked another friend with commercial real estate background to join our team, and would be happy to find any others who are interested in joining us. Three of us are in east Tennessee, while my brother is in eastern PA. We are using a fantastic software program called PropStream–I was a realtor when I lived in PA, and I am blown away by what this does. I bought it before the challenge, and it isn’t cheap, but it will eliminate a huge amount of the research involved in finding properties. IF ANY OF YOU KNOW ABOUT THIS PROGRAM AND DECIDE TO PURCHASE IT DURING THE CHALLENGE, PLEASE CONTACT ME SO I CAN REFER YOU–IT WON’T COST YOU ANYTHING, BUT I’LL MAKE $250 TOWARD MY GOAL!!!

I am also looking for anything that someone would like to donate toward my spay/neuter education & clinic program. Contacts, items, property, ideas, services, money, etc. The county where I live is one of the poorest in TN, and the animals here have a very difficult time of it. I’m already involved with the local shelter and humane society, and am finding that the “that’s the way it’s always been” attitude is starting to change, thankfully. But there’s still LOTS to be done! email related to this can go to HelpTheAnimals

Thanks to Robert Allen, Mark & Jake, and everyone at EWI for making these great programs available, and for spreading such a light-filled message in the world!

Success is available to all of us!

      Hey everyone

so here is an update so far.

I have got 7 investors ready to go and im working on a couple mortgage brokers and real estate agents to help me find properties and flip them for assignment titles. basically I find people who are very good, but got into a hairy situation. I take assignment of their property and flip it to an investor who will buy the property. I get an assignment fee of usually 5000 - 7500 but since im working under a mentor/ team it gets split accordingly because we all get our own leads to bring to the table.

I’m going to be starting a couple websites today or in the next couple days. One will be an affiliate based site that will help people search for abundance. Its a little site im going to throw together when i have the time. I want income streams from amazon, eBay and Google ad sense.
I’m going to start up my companies property site. Although im not incorporated yet ( i soon will be) I need to reserve the domain space.
There might be a third one for properties that i will be selling on eBay, I still have to get everything set up

Today I will be posting ads on 70 Canadian ad sites looking for more investors. I unfortunately cant do as much as i would like because i have to work to sustain my income. I am super focused but if i didn’t work 10 hours a day i would be able to do alot more. I’m doing well with the time i have, but its time to get more focused ( which means you will be seeing more of me)

Evelyn - I am from the Hamilton area. If you are wanting my contact info, ill post it on a site.

I have another goal, to lose 60 lbs by Christmas. I’m on an intense weight lifting program and I hope that I can also lose the weight as well as inspire others that you can change anything, if you have the desire and the faith.

Here is a motivational qoute for all of you to drive and succeed

“Your thoughts are the most powerful energy on the planet. The same energy created worlds. If you channel that energy, you Will change yours”

Have a good week everyone :)

    119. adam h Says:

      Hey everyone

Evelyn: I was wondering since we are both from ontario ( or anyone else that is from ontario) to email Janet.

I am looking to put together a team of like minded people. This is the perfect place since we are all looking for the same thing. It could be a very powerful partnership, to give more to charity.

If anyone would like to get in touch with me janet needs your name, phone, email, time zone, location and permission to disclose your information.
      Email her at richinsix@gmail.com

I look forward to hearing from and potentially building a team with you !

      Adam

    120. *~AaRoN~* Says:

This is fun. And I just want to point out that I am so pleased with the REAL Team here… and that’s YOU. All of you. Yes you… and even you. Team EWI. Everyone who participates, who gives feedback, and who reaches out for help or mentoring. Some won’t read this, because they are also on our team, but not on this blog.

Which brings me to “Shawn H” above. He wanted to see commitment from the bloggers here. Well Shawn… You have motivated me! Thank you for your comments and sharing. And yes… Kill your TV!

On to “Mike S”, who locked down a Creatively Financed Contract… Grreat Job. (<- double r intentional) GO Get ‘em! And remember to have “consideration” even if it’s a dollar. I took a property under contract this summer for a $10 check. It says…”Just wanted to validate this contract here’s my check”

So I guess its my turn now, right? Ok… Aaron to the microphone stand please…

Where do I begin? I am ecstatic with joy. I have been non-stop. I haven’t sold any wholesale products on my website. I haven’t gotten a “yes” yet on any property in the challenge period. But. (You gotta love the “but”, because you know something good is coming)

What I have done is get in on the ground floor of an International Company. Man, I picked it apart from every angle. I researched the research. Looking for holes to poke, I came to the conclusion… “This IS IT! I can DO this!” And the most innovative commission structure that I have seen. This company pays out over 50% in commissions!

      No paralysis of analysis anymore.

It’s a totally different kind of weight loss product that’s working better than anything in history.

Here’s a little background info. The company has several products based on ingredients from the ocean. The most interesting is a weight loss/energy product that has fucoxanthin (brown algae). This is commonly found in the Asian diet in miso soup and some sushi and it increases your metabolic burn rate (MBR) and burns belly fat. The other ingredients are coral calcium, hoodia, fiber, b-complex, and yerba mate. It’s sweetened with agave and tastes great.

It comes in a new form as a whole food, not a pill. It’s sort of like a gummy bear and the ingredients are delivered into your system much more effectively than pills. And it tastes great, surprisingly.

      I love this Challenge!

Bob, it’s because of you and EWI, that this is happening! Thank You. I’ll be reporting back soon!

    121. Bill U Says:

in response to Rose: I have it listed on Craigslist already will probably list it on ebay next week for bids going toward downpayment

Hey everyone just stopping by to say hey, and see how everyone else is doing. One piece of advice to everyone if you are thinking of using bandit signs to find or sell homes. DONT DO IT!! right now with so many homes in foreclosure, community tax bases are hurtinmg. So to offset those losses in property tax collections, they are cracking down in other areas to produce cash flow.

Thats all for now!! and remember “if life was a just bowl of cherries all the time, we wouldnt know how to enjoy cherries”

    122. Evelyn Says:

      Hi everyone.

Hey Adam, nice to hear from you. I am actually from Ajax, Durham Region. I am interested to be part of the team that you will be putting together. I will be sending an email to Janet so you can get in touch with me too. I will also try to get your email and telephone no. from her so I can get in touch with you as soon as possible. I am so excited to be working with a team of like minded people.

Here’s for our success and abundant blessings. I really like the idea of the powerful partnership so we can give more to charity.

      Talk to you soon.

      Evelyn

    123. Alison M Says:

This is such a great opportunity! My partner Bea and I (the ladies in the red T-Shirts) hit a major road block right before we attended the EWI Wealth Retreat. We had 30 loans we were attempting to refi and ran out of hard money! This challenge is giving us the platform to totally recreate our business and invent new strategies.

Some of our major victories have been:
We have opened our own hard money company!
We have begun dialogueing with an award winning “green” architect for a new build project!
      Creating a web-site

Every day we are committed to making that one scarey phone call that will make a difference in our business today!

      Thanks Bob!

    124. *~AaRoN~* Says:

      Hello Team!

I just returned from handing out my last business card for the night. It’s going great. Everywhere I go there is opportunity. I am actually having a great time. I am so blessed to be here, right now.

OK so the “Lose 10lbs in 15 days” Product is taking off with great success. And I am well on my way to having handed out 100 “Private Real Estate Investor” business cards this week.

      Today, I met:

-A pharmaceutical salesperson who knows people who want to lose 10 pounds
-A Police Officer, who knows of a property which may be an opportunity
-A diner employee who knows people who want to lose 10 pounds
-A self-proclaimed “Big Daddy” who wants to lose 10 pounds and knows people who want to lose 10 pounds
-A convenience store employee who wants to help a friend who is trying to lose weight and a few fellow employees who may want to as well
-A couple who want to help a close family member to lose weight?
-A Commercial Flooring Company worker who wants to supplement their income finding individuals who want to reach their ideal weight, and helping them attain that with my product
-A Commercial Painter who wants to earn money the same as the Flooring individual (they do not know each other) and has a property which they need to sell
-A Convenience store clerk who has just moved from Europe and wants to buy a home soon, however has no credit and knows only the neighbor who ironically is someone who needs to lose weight, and who knows many others who also need to as well.

      And…

-An individual who wants to make money finding homes owned by “Don’t Wanters” and referring them to me.

I also sold a patio set for cash and a little bit of hard labor.

I had an individual agree to “fund” marketing materials for me, in exchange for a piece of revenue from the earnings generated by them.

So basically all I have been doing is running into problems all day.

      …And that couldn’t describe a better day.

      Because …

I AM a Solutions Specialist and I Solve those problems.

All around me, all day long, all there happens to be, are opportunities.

… Some people, just call them problems. I don’t.

Thanks for the glasses, Team EWI.

      Living the Dream,
      ~ Aaron

    125. Adam H Says:

      Hey everyone,

Well here is an update on everything that has been going on with me. Janet has emailed me and hooked up all the Canadians and Aaron with each others contacts. The Canadians have all agreed to set up a mastermind group.

I called Aaron last night because he needed help with computer problems, which I am more then happy to solve. I surprised him with the call and he was caught off guard. However we talked for almost an hour about things and he has agreed to help me if I need it with certain things.

The thing that I like about this is that there is a camaraderie here. Be it from Canada, the us where ever we are all from different walks of life with the same visions. Success.

So I want to share with you some tips and successes that I have had so far.

The mastermind group for Canadians has been formed, and we are working out the final details for communication. I had suggested Skype and live meeting to facilitate meetings.

I’m still growing my list of investors, realtors and brokers to fund and flip property assignments from distressed home owners. This creates a WIN/win/win for everyone because we all get something that we are looking for.

I have set up a website for marketing purposes. This website honestly blew me away. Its basically an online marketing place that you can set up your own domain for $10 a month and it has unlimited potential.

I am also signed up for 3 affiliate sites that will then be funneled through a people search engine that I will be starting probably today.

I will also be creating another site that funnels eBay, Amazon and ad sense through my company’s property site ( when I get it created)

Everything is still basically in beta form right now so I apologize for not professionally built sites. If you would be so kind to check out my abundance site and leave me feedback I would appreciate it.

To date I have made only $580 off eBay. I sold my bow flex and have used the money to get my businesses started. I had to buy glasses and a laptop, as well as give away 15 % to charity and that used up that money. But never fear there is more to be made, and more to be equally given away.

We have ~ 2 and a bit weeks left. I wish you all the best and If you need help, just trust in yourself and angels will take care of you.

I will be setting up automatic donations for make a wish foundation Canada this weekend. I would be light years ahead right now if I didn’t have to work 10 hrs a day everyday. But that’s what this is for, to get me out of the rat race

      Thanks again
      Adam :)

    126. Rose Says:

Okay, I have the two main ways of raising cash identified. They are also creative ways for me to be self - realizing. One will be the blog/websites, and I have come up with a few ideas about these in line with my interests, and I am looking at clickbank affliates. I am putting the pain relief site to the backburner because I could not find a clickbank product that I felt comfortable with and I am going to have to write my own ebook. I am going to also have to look into linkshare.com and associateproducts.com as coach Kat suggested. I couldn’t really find my way around commission junction to find much. The blogging is perfect for me because I have toyed with the idea of freelance writing for years and even done a bit. But the rejection from publishers is hard for me to deal with, and that is the great thing about the Internet you write it - you can get it out there. And almost inevitably at least one or two other people in the world will enjoy it!

The other money making method will be real estate. I got on the horn and called up some aged for rent ads with the plan to lease option and actually went out to talk to a seller. I backed out on the offer because I do not think he is motivated enough and it would be difficult working with him. But I have learned, learned, learned ad nauseaum it is now time for me to get out there and market for motivated sellers. Gentle nudges please! I need to do something this week.

I am afraid about getting actually moving, maybe because I am afraid that real estate will not work out for me and then what will I have - just my job? Irrational fears I know, but I bet some people can relate.

Aaron, please mail me with your sales info at bloomingrose at aol, I certainly want to lose weight. Rose

    127. Kathy S. Says:

One of my contributions to the 6 weeks is all about the amazing stories from members from my website. Here is one financial arrangement that is so enlightened that it really stands a chance to eclipse any other that I do in the near future.

Shortly after the launch of my website, a member approached me with this captivating scenario…

She’s a woman in her sixties who for the past thirty years has created wild success in the network marketing arena. Not only that, but she has risen to the top 8 different times at 8 different net work marketing companies. During her wild roller coaster ride, she attained all the awards and accolades along with vast sums of money. She lived the rock star life with all the lavish fixings.

Then, while at the top of one multi-million dollar company, the company violently and unexpectedly crashed taking with its terrible collapse all of its human components. The damage was extensive and far-reaching and this member was crushed beyond words. There she lost everything. It was devastating for her to lose her source of income at this time of her life, but worst of all, she lost her health.

Picking up the pieces has required years of massive toil and effort, and, because she had not created other streams of income, there was nothing to stabilize this massive loss.

Fast forward to now. After she became a member of wealth Giveaway, she realized that perhaps she had an answer to her prayer. Her solution, a way for her to create a source of income would be to become an E-mini trader. I’ve learned that this is a very well thought out platform in the trading arena that has a mentoring system built in. Further, this member has been involved in their virtual paper trading for over two years and is astounded at what she could have generated.

Here’s a very poignant sidebar. Most of us have fleeting commitments in life. Right? Heck, we don’t even stay committed to hair stylists or brands of paper towels. Yes? So, here’s this person who just lost everything and yet she sees a glimmer of hope and for two years she stayed committed to something like a virtual paper trading platform. It was both exhilarating for her, and utterly tortuous for her. On the one hand she was learning the technique and seeing the huge potential for generating money. And, at the same time tortured by the fact that she simply did not have the $3K to get started and certified to be the actual trading. And of course knowing all along that a few short years ago $3K was a drop in the bucket. Yet she persisted. She visualized. She dreamed. She imagined that one day she would use this vehicle to rise up again and “get her life back”.

Please keep in mind that for the past few years she’s been living on a pitifully small social security benefit which requires so many sacrifices the least of which is the need to scrimp on household necessities including food and transportation.

Okay, I think you have the picture. Let’s get back to the arrangement…

After an extensive interview, and the trading components including the details about the course and all of her profits on paper she has gathered for the past 2 years, and of course the massive commitment she has already shown in her 2 years of paper trading, I was highly compelled to enter in to an agreement. Of course, this would in normal circumstances be a terrible gamble. Online trading is a gamble no matter what it is. However, here’s the most amazing agreement I’ve ever entered in to.

      here it is…

She is provided with the $3,000 initial cost to get the trading course, the testing, the mentoring guidance, and other factors to get her ready to do actual money transactions.

Here’s where it gets poetic and really enlightened, after she passes her course and gets certified to be an E-mini trader, she will receive $5,000 to trade with. She keeps 75% of her profits for 1 year and does not have to pay back the loan. I of course receive 25%. And, here’s the beautiful part, she spends 3 hours a week working with me producing an information product about her network marketing knowledge which is expert and even legendary.

This intellectual property will be marketed and I keep 75% of these profits. She reaps 25% of these profits. This is beautiful in so many ways. First, because she absolutely has no collateral at all, I’m securing my position by employing her extensive network marketing knowledge as “intellectual collateral”. And she’s protected because she will have more than one stream of income. That is, she will have her trading source, and the information product she will produce as a life-long source of income. The production of her information product will help to heal her terrible loss so that it was not in vain. She will get a chance to teach and share herself, which is something she does naturally, and others will benefit so richly as well.

The whole thing is truly stunning.

Third, the other stunning aspect is that it’s already overflowing in to other lives such as her best friends’ life because her best friend who also has the trading product gets a $1,000 referral fee because my wealth giveaway member bought in to the program.

The wealth gets spread around over and over again.

The finance deal is truly an enlightened one and it promises to benefit hundreds of people.

      A fantastic, perpetual gift indeed.

      Hello Everyone,

I am proud to say, I have succeeded in handing out 100 business cards by last Friday. This is a new weekly goal, which has helped to facilitate a growing number of contacts and networking opportunities.

The enthusiasm and interest in the weight management product which I am marketing, is spreading fast. My website has gotten increased traffic and visitors, as well. I can see the marketing is having a good return.

This week will surely be even stronger than the last.

I have gotten multiple leads for “Don’t Wanters”, and am looking forward to some exciting negotiations. I walked through a 4/2 rancher this weekend, and will be writing an offer soon.

Wishing everyone safety, success, and smiles!

My goal is to achieve $100,000 CASH! My main focus is selling my rentals to earn the $100,000! I just received an offer on my tri-plex however its $15,000 lower than I wanted. I instructed the buyer I will sell it for less than I wanted to put a couple of thousand toward my charge cards.

I am frustrated due to the profit on my sales are usually less than $10,000. When I go to RE seminars and listening to Robert Allen and other instructors who are making over $50,000-$100,000 on 1 Sale!

    130. Cindy Says:

I am working on earning $100,000 cash in this challenge. My main focus to achieve my goal is selling my rentals to other investors (don’t care to be a landlord anymore).

My challenge that I keep having and that I’m frustrated with is the end profits. In the past and currently the offer on my tri-plex. My profit is under $10,000. I hear and keep hearing from other successful RE investors on the huge profits they make on a deal as $80,000 on 1 deal!

Can someone explain to me How they make over $50,000 on 1 deal? This is where my focus needs to be to achieve my goal.

I also handed out 100 business cards last weeked!!

Hello everyone! The following was my first entry which I entered on Friday, Sept. 26, 2008 but for some reason it did not post on the blog. I hope it sticks this time. This is what I wrote:

We are on the end of the second week of the Rich in Six Challenge and this is my first entry. I’ve had a slow start. My shortness of cash has taken a toll on me that I don’t think straight sometimes. I have to keep reminding myself to stay focused and keep moving. All the news about the economy has not helped either. Today I decided to turn off the TV and not listen to it until this challenge has ended.

I’ve had a hard time trying to understand how to list things on eBay and setting up my website. I finally got 5 things listed. God permits, I’ll have 15 more listed by the end of this week. I can’t wait to clean up my garage! I’m still working on the website. I have two vacant properties in Atlanta I would like to wholesale. I’m slowly but surely getting them on the website and I will be advertising them through eBay as well as other websites very soon. I’ve also finally moved the $7,000 in my 401k to a self-directed Roth IRA. I’m going to look for properties here in Florida next. I’m hoping to find some great deals.

I’m very glad I’m in this challenge with all of you. It’s nice to have a support team. The teleclasses are a great way to stay focused and keep moving forward. I’m looking forward in selling my two properties and buying at least two more by the end of this challenge. My goal is to make at least $25,000.

My latest story is one that I seriously feel started some time ago but was planted in Anaheim at the Wealth Retreat. My partner in Real Estate consulting, Alison M shared that weekend with me. We had bright RED T-SHIRTS made up just for the retreat as our live business cards. We love to network. We decided that our new company name together would be Portfolio Builderz and that we would offer various opportunities through that company as we had been doing independently of one another as well as together. The name stuck and we were excited at the response to our RED T-SHIRTS.

Both of us were Mastery students and had spent much money on education and learning over the last few years. We came to the Wealth Retreat as we felt the need for a boost from some of our mentors on the Schnitter team and pick up the positive enaergy of the weekend….during this lending/credit time we were faced with our momentum slowing down to a crawl and we needed to get back on track quickly. We networked like crazy in Anaheim….actually spoke to Robert Allen and Tom Painter on the Wednesday evening after having walked across the stage to pick up our gain awards….that was awesome!….we took on the Rich in Six Challenge and told each other that we were going to Tahiti!!….it was EXACTLY what we needed to get our head of steam back up again……THANK YOU ROBERT ALLEN!!…

We had a business filled weekend of planning and taking action…..WE have since dabbled on EBAY and have sold numerous items totalling several hundreds of dollars…actually created and launched our new website (of course need to fine tune as we go)….started a new company jointly in Real Estate Consulting and acquired new clients within our new business….we have pending offers for our clients again (which will bring in approximately $20,000 this month for our business and twice that for the client in equity and cash out) because we ended up starting our own Hard Money Division of our Company in order to keep the deal flow going within our control….we have raised at least $100,000 for that and have leads interested as well currently….

We had also been involved in yet another Passive Income stream where we actually became General Partners in oil Drilling Partnerships last weekend….we have raised at least $60,000 for that with our goal being $800,000 by November 15th…as you can see we have become very focused and driven and we will plow forward despite the grim media…we have great people who help us in the day to day and they will never go unrecognized…..

I have begun reinvesting in my own market of Phoenix, AZ and will have placed several hundreds of offers on REO’s by the end of the week…I am looking to purchase several houses here as well….we place dozens of offers on a weekly basis as well out of state for our clients……so much to share so little space…..it boils down to the fact that we DID get the boost we needed in Anaheim and there is no stopping now…thank you Robert Allen for laying down the tracks for our locomotive!!!!!! Our seed is growing into an enormous tree with numerous limbs…….my dream of spending more time with my family (they are ALL in Canada) whenever and for however long I desire is within my reach……I can see it so clearly!!!!…….I am going for it!!

      Hello Everyone,

This is the “Nothing Down Alien ” again.

I have been very busy and did not post a blog comment for a couple of weeks. In the past two weeks I contacted over 200 FSBO’s. If you set a goal to contact 20 sellers a day, you will realize there are a lot of motivated sellers and opportunities.

Motivated sellers will always exist and they are born every day. But to find the motivated seller, you will have to look for them, database them and follow up. They might not like your offer from the get-go but they often have no alternatives. If you present an offer that will actually work for them, you can help a lot of people. But it takes a little bit of time.

Do not be a lazy investor. Most investor put an ad in the newspaper and wait for the motivated sellers to call them. You will find the best deals if you start looking. The internet is a great source. Create a habit. At least once a week you will spend a day browsing FSBO’s on the internet or newspaper. Bob and his mentors teach us the basic of investing…Call FSBO’s.

In this market where it will be more and more difficult to borrow money; sellers are getting frustrated. They often give up the hope that they will be able to sell their house. That’s where we come in. We come to the rescue for those who really need it. We have an important job in this society.

Since the beginning of this challenge I have 4 deal under my belt and I submitted 29 offers in the past weeks so I expect a few more offers to be accepted. You have to work hard. This is a business. Treat it like a business and not like a hobby.

Structure your offers in a way that you can continue to submit offers every day. You do not want to tie up all your money in one deal. All my offers are “Nothing Down and with Creative Financing“. When you submit an offer on a FSBO’s just pretend you have no money. When you invest with a mindset that you have no money in your pocket, you will become a good investor, my friends.

      Greetings!

Just a tip, it really has helped me to not watch too much news, and to focus on being positive, and hurdle my own self made fences…..or just start taking down the illusion in my own mind.

My biggest challenge to date seems to be just asking for help, and being totally unabashed about being vulnerable to my desire to do better, and better.

It has helped heal my frustrations to read other’s comments.

I had 600 flyer’s printed up for a business venture and handed them out, not all, just enough to get a test market. Then later I learned that YELLOW is the “right” color for a higher percentage of response.

Well, could have fooled me, I did what I did, and am further along than I would have been had I not joined. It is the exposure to trying to make it………..to “keep up” that pushes me forward.

Well, I have taken a bit of a leap and am working exclusively on blogging. There do not seem to be very many of us, it may seem that more money is to be made in real estate, but the opportunity with Coach Kat seems to valuable to lose.

My blog is on dogs, and hopefully the next blog entry here will include my website, up and running and making money. The joy of it is that I love dogs, love thinking about them and being with them, and I am finding that writing about them is fun too. I have chosen what seems to be a wonderful dog training video as an affliate, and have some ideas for other products. I do not have my own products to sell yet, and I may not even develop them if I have good luck with affliate products.

It is a lot of luck writing the blog postings and making the other Net contacts that will build my business, but I literally do it in my pajamas. I can work at 3AM or if I have a cold. (I do not have to worry about sneezing on babies like at my work as a nurse.) I have submitted articles to magazines, most have been rejected although some have been published. The beauty of the Internet is that most of the time I do not see any rejection, and if it occurs the person has no more power than I do, no editor telling me that my ideas should not be published.

Like I said it is a lot of work but I think it will be worth it. And after the challenge ends and this blog is up I will re-enter my real estate investing in earnest. I probably do not want to be a full time investor, but just purchasing a few income properties can make all the difference in my retirement.

    141. Rose Says:

To Chetz Y - lovely site! I will return to listen to the speaker on what makes a relationship work after I do some writing. Hope you are on the calls sometime. I have not been able to make it due to work. but always listen later.

Well, my little blog is up! It sure needs a lot of work, I am sure that I will change it a lot as time goes on. But it is up, and I have ideas for other blogs. This challenge has done something miraculous for me: shown me a way of getting my writing out there, and making some money.

I told my Mastermind group that my goal for this week was just to get my blog up, and as soon as I said that I knew that was not exactly right: I vowed to have the blog up and have a money making device on it. I identified some affiliate programs that are appropriate and I want them on my blog. Unfortunately I have not yet figured out how to put the banner ads but I kept at it until I could put a hyperlink to my affiliate program. Man, I was proud of that hyperlink!

I just learned that I have a little more time. Okay, let me see what I can do by that midnight Sunday at Mountain Time.

By the way, I’ll be on the next challenge, and this time I will add real estate to it.

    143. Anna M Says:

I am an actor artsy type whose dream is to write my own screenplays, and make my own films, and act in them. Maybe even write a book or two. I had never taken a look at anything having to do with business, real estate, and financial dealings. It all seemed like something I could never do. Until now.
As I get older, I have felt the need to have something financially stable waiting for me somewhere, because I have no money and very little income. And next to nothing in my IRA. Earlier ths year, I took a free EWI workshop, and something in me told me to go for it, and buy the Mastery Program. I was so poor, I couldn’t even park in the hotel parking lot where the workshop took place, and I had to bring my own lunch in a paper sack. But I put the EWI charge on my credit card.

I felt skeptical, but something deep inside was driving me on, nonetheless. I went to my first couple of bootcamps (Jeff Schnitter’s Foreclosure bootcamp and Lorenzo Spencer’s Transaction Engineering) as well as Field Training in Kansas City, MO in June-July.

There were times I was kicking and screaming, saying it couldn’t be done. My fear of such foreign thinking reared up its ugly head.

After the bootcamps, I tried calling money lenders, as Jeff Schnitter suggested. I couldn’t find any money lenders to lend to me. They all wanted full doc and income, etc. I think I caught things just as the lending situation was changing in early fall. And their fees were outrageous.

So I stopped - and took a look at what I did have. And how I could use Robert Allen’s other techniques, since he teaches many “no money down” strategies. I didn’t want to do anything too scary. Or anything that required a lot of finagling and transactioning, since I know very little about all this. And some of the techniques seemed to take a lot of figuring out and went way over my artsy head. I did have great credit and I had already started applying right and left for all the 0% promotional offer credit cards. I realized I could use other people’s money by using the credit card companies’ money.

So I looked over all the myriad credit cards I had (because I had excellent credit, I had a lot) and I picked the 0% credit cards with the best terms, and with a maximum cap on transfer fees, as well as the credit cards that allow you to transfer money to your own bank account and use that as a balance transfer instead of a cash advance. (you must be very careful about this, since cash advance fees are outrageously high and must be avoided).

I took a deep breath and transferred $60,000 into my bank account. All in, I paid a maximum in transaction fees of @ $275. Not bad for having $60,000 to buy foreclosures and zero percent interest. (of course, still keep in mind, you must start making minimum payments right away in the first month).

I got to work - I heard Lorenzo talk about what beautiful homes there were for sale in Detroit during his bi-weekly phone teleclass. I had been looking in Kansas City, MO, but had not such good luck with the realtors and banks there. Then I switched to Detroit. I hooked up with a great realtor in Detroit that specializes in foreclosures and I also found a great rehabber - after interviewing several candidates (I’ve got to admit I lucked out here).

Within a week, I had closed on two properties at $10,000 or less. The realtor is a real good one and would guide me.

Rehab on the two properties is just about done - a tenant is already moving into the first one at the beginning of Nov. and all this has happened within about a month!!! (wheww!!!!) I can’t say I haven’t had a few hair raising moments. But everything is going well, the city of Detroit can have a lot of red tape, and the credit card companies are starting to change my rates, because I have so much credit out. But soon I’ll be bringing in a good cash flow (all of it will go to pay the credit cards at first, but if I pay it off, I could be free and clear in about three years).

All told, with all expenses, taxes, closing costs, insurance, rehab, and other incidentals, I am into each property for about $25,000-$27,000 – and one property is worth close to $100,000 ARV – the other is about $110,000-$120,000 ARV.

And once I’m over this first hump, I plan to do more of the same. I don’t want to get in over my head, so I’m waiting until I’m getting a steady income from these properties.

A word of warning - this works only if you have great credit, and then be prepared for your credit to take a dive. Having this much money loaned out to me has seriously affected my credit, but it’s worth it. And although I have had a couple of credit card companies raise my regularr APR rate, I have found out, most of them cannot take away the 0% promotional rate they have promised you if you’re already in it - as long as you keep making your payments and don’t default.

But this has given me a whole new lease on life, and on how I can become financially independant by using other people’s money, since I had no money of my own.

I know I could do more right now, such as using the realtor to get more properties and then sell them to other investors. But one thing at a time. And in the end, of course, I hope to make enough money to do what I really want to do - which is to write screenplay and make my own films.

But whereas before, I couldn’t think how I could ever have money for this, now I see a way.

Also, I feel very bad about how people have lost their homes in the foreclosure crisis. I think it’s a catastrophe of Grapes of Wrath proportions. When I first went to Kansas City, MO, I couldn’t even concentrate on making money on these homes. All I could think of was - what heppened to these poor people who lost homes? And I was creating all sorts of stories in my head (because I am a screenwriter). I had to at some point put that aside, so I could concentrate on buying foreclosures. But when I am more financially stable, I definitely want to do something to help people who have lost homes.

Thanks very much for dragging me kicking and screaming into Enlightened Wealth,
      Anna Maganini

Short Sales are booming…..Claim your Share……$$$$$

I have been working on Short Sales for the last 2 years. This one is special case because it is part of the Six Weeks Challenge and it was a very difficult and persistent negotiation until the last minute. CHASE Bank Loss Mitigator has rejected all our contracts and potential offers 4 times. They rejected our Land Trust, Option Contract, Lenny and/or assign contract, etc. Finally, I have told her: “This is our last Final Offer and final contracts, you pick one, either the Option contract or the Lenny and/or assignees. You don’t tell us how to buy a house. We use Land Trust for asset protection and to prevent the present seller to be obstructed or prevented to sell his house to us if there is a last minute lien or judgment attached to this house before we can close”.

That lady did not accept any excuses, she wanted us to buy the house on my own name. No way!!!. We always use an entity or Land Trust. Loss Mitigator accepted our final offer on 10/09/08. We were giving up with this crazy lady. Never put your own name to buy a house if you are an investor. Finally, she accepted Lenny and/or assignees. I am going to sell that house still using a land trust and using my “Assignment of Beneficial Interest in Trust” form, to avoid any personal liability and paying higher taxes for a short term investment. I have signed a contract to sell this house on 10/14/08 for $240,000. The present ARV of this house/condominium is $270,000. It was purchased in 2006 for $473,000 approximately. We will have a profit of approximately $57,000 minus closing expenses. Good deal for a short sale. Always leave something on the table for the next homeowner……$$$.

Just go ahead and do it…!!! I know you can do it tooooo…$$$

    145. Frank J Says:

In my opinion this is another example of how you can apply the knowledge and insight that I have learned from our mentors. This is a nice house in a very nice area. It’s located on the golf course in South Kansas City. It’s in good condition, everything and all the appliances are present and work. There is only 1 bedroom where the seller removed the carpet because the pets made stains on it. The challenge that this property has, is that the interior is outdated, it is not up to current higher end standards. It was built in the 70’s and does not have stainless steel apppliances, granite counter tops etc. If you want to rehab to bring it up to “modern” standard, you easily put $50,000, if you get carried away, maybe even $100,000 in the property.

But that is not what I am going to do. First of all, I want to let you know that I started thinking out of my comfortzone. I do not have a lot of funds avaialble so all I could do is creative deals. I did 13 creative deals last year of which 3 in the rich in six challenge. A few months ago, I actually purchased a 4 plex and 2 duplexes nothing down and I even got money back at closing. Thinking outside my comfort zone I submitted a cash offer. Mark H. told me that lack of funds should not stop me making cash offers. It’s actually a little bit of fear for me as well I guess. I got an offer on this property accepted at $189,500. The sellers listed it for $285,000 last year, and have been dropping the purchase price. But since the interior is outdated, this house is not the first choice for the picky buyer in this buyer’s market. The sellers have been reducing the purchase price down to $210,000 in 12 months. I found them through craigslist. I made a cash offer and after a few counter offers they accepted my offer at $189,500. Now my next challenge is that I am going to find a partner with private money. I am determined to accomplish that. This is actually my last obstacle to grow from good to great. Once I have the private funds to close on it, I will market it as a lease purchase. I am convinced that this house will do well if you put it on the market as a rent to own, instead of dealing with picky buyers. I will be working with people with money and minor credit challenges. Credit can be repaired. It’s nothing more than the law of supply and demand. I want to put it on the market in as-is, move-in condition and market it as rent to own for $290,000 (appraised value by my agent is $335,000). I will discuss this with Lorenzo S. as well. He might even tell me to market it at market value since if you market it as rent to own, you will be marketing it to 3 to 4 times as much buyers. Of course Lorenzo will never tell me what to put it on the market for, but I am sure he has experience with properties like this. So , I purchase it for $189,500, sell it for $290,000 to a tenant-buyer and I will offer my Private money partner 25% equity. That’s how I calculated the $75,000 equity.

    146. kathy S. Says:

HOW A $262,000 INVESTMENT YIELDED A FORECLOSURE PACKAGE WORTH OVER $700,000.

      Here’s how we did it…

Earlier this year, it made sense for Jim and I to practice three of the most basic principles taught by Robert Allen. One of these is to see what’s going on in the current market and maneuver in to a position so that we are able to take advantage of it. In our case we decided to take advantage of the unfortunate sub prime fiasco and take a look at the large foreclosure opportunities.

the second tactic we used was the removal of our stagnant equity in a real-estate asset, our home, and then to take the cash and grow it in a good high yielding investment.

The other basic principle we used is to simply purchase an asset at a discount. In our case this asset was 15 properties that were in foreclosure. These simple tactics have paid off for us in a big way. Read on to find out more.

First, you must understand that we began to see our home of 20 years begin to follow other property trends here in orange county California. That’s right. Along with the rest of our neighborhood the value of our home began to drop sharply. In the face of such tremendous loss in the value of our home we decided to refinance. In hind sight, this decision has proved to be quite fortuitous and very wise indeed. Thank you Bob.

      After refinancing our
California home and thus removing as much equity as possible, these funds were put aside while we took the time to find a way to grow this cash in a good high yielding investment tool.

Oh, I just thought of another Robert Allen principle Jim and I follow that I’d like to share… And that is is teaching to all of us to adhere to a wise lifestyle, filled with a generous amount of saving and investing income.

This has always been a base principle for Jim and me. We have spent our whole adult life always living within our means. Making it a regular practice to both save and invest our income, which was until now less than $100K. But, over time, and with discipline, we grew our wealth via smart investments, wise choices, and modest living. And further, during these past 3 or 4 years of wild property value increases here in California, we didn’t jump at every opportunity we found in our mail box to refinance which had we done so, would have simply served to erode our equity. So, Earlier this year, because of this wisdom, we still had a nice chunk of equity to use. Now, here’s the rest of the story.

Above I use the word fortuitous to describe our refinance decision which has benefitted us right now in the present in at least 3 distinct ways:

First, we are so thankful that we planned ahead and decided to refinance before the financial world began to unravel in late spring, early summer. If we were trying to employ this tactic right now, our success would surely be much different given the present credit crunch. Then there’s the question of having any equity left to play with at all because of further diminishing home values.

Then there is of course the rich in six challenge which was certainly not on our radar earlier this year. However, it looks good and we think the equity attained in the investment will benefit us in this challenge.

And then there’s the great long term benefit of having such a fantastic investment create so many fantastic options for us and for others with whom we are working such as the tenants, the property manager, the future buyers of the note should we decide to sell, etc.

Back to what happened… Interestingly, it took more time than we expected to find the right investment opportunity. It was important that we find something that would offer an attractive ROI, and that would work quickly. After all, Jim and I are not in our 20’s. Smile…

It also had to fit in to our lifestyle. For instance, we do not have a lot of time to rehab properties, drive around neighborhoods knocking on doors to negotiate with sellers etc. Don’t get me wrong. These tactics are extremely effective and certainly get fantastic results. But one thing that Bob teaches is to consider our own individual concerns, find what works, and then do it.

In our case, Jim works full time, and I have rental properties to manage, a website to grow, and other entrepreneurial pursuits. So, you get the picture. We are quite busy, and were not teenagers.

So, we spent much time looking at and then rejecting several investment opportunities. Finally, we came across a way to purchase some highly discounted properties that had been foreclosed and by this time, owned by a bank. Clients like us could bypass all the negotiations and let a big company grab up these very good, inexpensive properties and sell them with some very appealing guarantees.

Again that word fortuitous comes to mind because the investment opportunity and the challenge has coincided.

The investment we went with is a firm guarantee that if we invest $17,500 per property we would have a property requiring very little rehab and would be quite habitable right after purchase. Another selling point was that we would be guaranteed a property worth over $45,000. A nice ROI.

Another appealing aspect was a built in management company who would find the tenant buyer, and market the note should we wish to sell after a time of seasoning.

All of this seemed like it fit in to our overall strategy So we did our due diligence, and then took the plunge and decided to take a large chunk of our equity and purchase 15 properties. All of them located in the Midwest such as Ohio, and Michigan.

Our $262,000 investment yielded a foreclosure package worth over $700,000.
We are left with a couple of really great options. One option is to rent the properties. If we can modestly rent each one for let’s say $500 our monthly cash flow could be well over $7,000 minus insurance etc.

I have never accomplished so much as I have during both of these rich in six challenges.

Here’s one of the results of my website.

One of the members from Wealth Give Away approached my company to be a cash partner on an interesting real-estate deal.

Like so often in business, this particular transaction required speed, and a little fast cash; otherwise he could have lost a really good deal. That’s why this website exists, and this is why this deal worked so beautifully.

      Here’s what happened…

He had a motivated seller, but he was unable to negotiate a good enough price to overcome quite a large lien on the sellers property of around 100K. Having to pay off this cost would cancel out all of the profit from the property.

Oddly, the seller was quite closed mouth about the lien, and only revealed to the member that it was a former contractor’s lien.

So, given this dead-end with the seller, and After some research, the member found the contractor in question and got him to agree to a face to face meeting.

It was revealed to the member that the contractor and the seller had quite a lot of bad blood between them and because of a bitter grudge against the contractor, the seller absolutely refused to pay the lien which was quite old.

The point is that the member was able to sit down and find out that the contractor had come in to some bad times and what he really needed at this point was some fast cash to help him with his next job.

These kinds of opportunities come around and it takes a skilled negotiator to handle things so that everyone involved comes out a winner. I gathered that the member was kind and gentle, yet firm, he was able to settle for an amazingly low sum of $5,200. And the contractor gladly accepted this offer and then in exchange for this fast cash he completely removed the lien.

Now all the member needed was the $5,200. This is where we come in. The member and I struck a deal.

He got the $5,200 sent to him, he was then able to do a double closing, and then, according to our agreement, he shared half of the profits, plus the original loan.

Do you see? He needed fast cash, and so did the contractor.

So, I was paid back the $5,200 plus half the profits which turned out to be a grand total of $43,728.23.

Will this member and I work together again? Yes, I think so. I now know he’s reliable and an experienced negotiator. He knows I’m there for him quickly. He and I both know that doing these kinds of deals over and over again makes it worth it for both of us.

Good job all around, don’t you think?

Thank all of you for being so inspirational to me. I also thank the amazing EWI staff, especially Janet Walgren.

Having started our family’s real estate career in the heyday of double digit appreciation, fast flips with huge profits and extreme seller’s markets, I had started to feel a little negative about the times we are in. It’s hard to stay positive with negative cash flows! SO, when I heard that Robert Allen was going to host another challenge I thought it would be the perfect inspiration to get back into the game. Having only 6 weeks to pan your strategy is excellent because there is no room for procrastination - only action. On one of the calls Bob said we had to make this goal of making six figures in six weeks a priority or it wouldn’t happen…so that’s what I did. I started thinking of the ways I could make money and investigated every possibility, talked to every person, and went back over “Nothing Down in the 2000’s” and my Mastery Program notes to find a solution.

My first big break came when our friend gave me the option for 204 quarter acre lots just South of Albuquerque, New Mexico near a new hospital and the University of New Mexico. I bought several when he first told me about them. Over the next few months I told several other friends that I thought they were good deals. And many of them bought. There’s a great opportunity because he is involved in other projects, doesn’t really have the time to pitch his lots, and I know lots of investors who are looking for a really safe investment that we KNOW will go up. He was selling them for $2500 each. I asked for a 6 week option (because who would say no to 6 weeks!) which could be extended for a year if HE wanted to extend. So I went to “Nothing Down for the 2000’s” and on page 189 found the contract and typed it out. I offered $357,000 for the 204 lots with a $1.00 option down payment. This is $1750 per lot to the seller which leaves $750 per lot for me. If I sell all 204 lots (which I truly believe that I can because the For Sale listings on Realtor.com are $4000 per lot) then my profit will be $153,000.!! I have only sold 11 lots so far but that was enough for the seller to agree to extend the option for a year. I will now begin to schedule presentations to Real Estate Investor’s Groups and to create a webinar about the lots. I bought Deals in NM and am working on the website which should be up within the week! SO, I feel like I am back on track with a strategy that will be extremely profitable even in this market - because when the banks aren’t safe, the stocks are plummeting - land is still safe!

Because I was telling everyone I was in this contest and was looking for ways to make money - I opened my eyes to an avenue that I have been saying NO to for my whole life! I can’t tell you have many people have tried to get me to sell products through multi level marketing companies. I finally said YES and I am thrilled with my experience so far. Not only have I made MONEY but I LOST 14 pounds in the process. The product is a 15 Day Turn Around Program of weight loss supplements, daily focus, personal coach and support for only $79. I figured anybody could afford that and I know lots of women my age (52) that would love to lose 10 pounds in 15 days. So I joined the company, 7 people have signed up under me, I have made $380 so far AND feel absolutely wonderful, healthy and excited. Last week I ran into an acquaintance who runs a stop smoking clinic in Key West. He remarked that I looked like I had lost weight so I told him about The 15 Day Turn Around. He said that many people wouldn’t try to stop smoking because they were afraid of the weight gain. WOW – I just immediately decided to gift him our program for one of his clients who may not have the money to pay for it. I am so very grateful that I have the opportunity to be the catalyst that may be the difference in someone giving up such a harmful LIFETIME habit! How awesome is that??!! Then yesterday the leader at the clinic called and said he would like to sign up to be a rep. So not only will I be doing GOOD – I will be making money. I absolutely know that I am doing the right thing! I also bought Burn Ten Pounds and put up the website and have received my first ever MLM internet money!

I love the excitement I feel when I wake up in the morning and have both of these projects to work on. The positive influence that the challenge has made in my life has been to remind me that you can still make GOOD MONEY in a BAD ECONOMY. It has even spilled over into my vacation rentals because I have become excited about real estate again. I am talking to more people, attracting more great renters and being more and more grateful every day that my mentors like Bob Allen and my Rich in Six Team, Aaron, Joseph and Kathy are there to inspire, motivate, and reassure me. THANK YOU!

My story begins when I went on the trip to Costa Mesa for the Rich in Six Challenge. Some beautiful things that happened and
I got the Robert Allen Signed Dollar Bill.

In the past year, my fiancé and I split, I have been the target of identity theft and fraudulent use of my credit, I had $75,000 in debt, with no resources to borrow money from, and I had to find a new home in the next 60 days.

Then I got together with this cash connection, and set out to generate:
      • $50,000 or more in cash
      • Setup a plan for my financial future, and retirement
      • Tie up Real Estate
      • And establish a cash generating lifestyle including many streams of income and for residual income
      • Realize and become an unstoppable force of inspiration and motivation
      • Encourage others to do the same in their lives immediately
o And wow this has been happening for me and it’s a wonderful feeling.
      o
In my wildest dreams, this is what I am, an entrepreneur. Now I am proving it. Shooting at a goal which is much more ambitious than the ones I have, I will certainly accomplish the goals that are most important to me.
      • Give the First 10% of income and create residual philanthropy
      • I will pay down the credit debt
      • Build business capital
      • Invest
      • Treat myself and others to the lessons and strategies to be duplicated so all of my family and friends can benefit as well.

“A fast nickel is better than a slow dime”… That principle really hit home for me. I know this was the motivation to allow me to sell $1,500.00 worth of my belongings, which I do not need in my life right now. I have become a catalytic cash convertor, when it comes to this and I am always negotiating when opportunities present themselves… This is all the time.

The more you learn the less you think you know. Then there is the trap of paralysis of analysis. I realized that I do know enough to be rich. I am certainly smart enough, and possess all of the talents and skills to really realize this. All that is left is to take action.

My key is, “Action conquers fear”, and “my life depends on it”.

I have prepared my entire life to become successful and institute the knowledge that I have accumulated. I know it shall benefit the highest and best benefit of others. Now, finally I am getting paid to be me. I know I have services, information, and products, which I can monetize. I realize my own potential and I am acting on it. Being already such a natural problem solver, declaring myself formally a Solution Specialist was not a stretch. I enjoy helping others. And I even have a creed to do it by. S.I.M.P.L.E. Solutions…
      Keep it ©S.I.M.P.L.E
      A Good solution will
      make SENSE,
      have INTEGRITY,
      make MONEY,
      have PATIENCE in its process,
      make use of LEVERAGE, and
      have helped EVERYONE involved!

      And it’s that S.I.M.P.L.E. !!

I have increased my net worth and invested in me; boiling down to the 2 needs that everyone has:
What do people really really really want?
What people really really really don’t want?

The security of financial freedom is not that far now. I can see that it has never really been this good. Never ever, a time like today. Opportunities are flourishing in all aspects of the world. There is no better time than now. The spark has been lit. And like JJ Childers says, “Real wealth, real fast!”, I understand making more money and paying less taxes, is an active structuring of transactions with proper entities and asset protection, all at the same time. I really enjoy that aspect, and can’t wait to capitalize on the knowledge which I understand now, and become fluid in the practice of it.
I have gained the confidence to be efficient in negotiations as well with the directness of simply asking, “What are the best prices and terms you would accept for a quick sale?” This allows me to get to the bottom line with people.

Section 162 of the tax code, ordinary and necessary expenses, is reassuring insofar as knowing those expenses are not all lost in building and operating a business.

“Intention plus intensity does equal creation!” and that creation comes to me freely easily and in perfect order, every time. “Thanks Jay Abrams.”

Mark Dove contributed a fresh perspective for my taking action without focusing on obstacles. Whether its grabber headlines, “R&D”, strategies for marketing on line, or selling me, “It is better to ask forgiveness than permission.”

Finding out the sweet spot for deals, and watching the market changes and the people becoming more accepting of what EWI has been talking about for more than a year, has empowered me as well.

Mark Hornberger has been incredible with his sharing and patience.

Coach Kat’s 23 steps, is a fine compliment to a doable strategy in a technologically savvy marketplace. And now I have become very good at launching blogs and websites.

I am an expert in the field in problem solving and Failing Forward to Profit with a Passion, as I call it, based on Darren Falter’s lessons, simply complements the entire direction of taking action also. Knowing all of the research and preparation in planning business strategies is about seeing what is working, what is innovative, and what sells. Seeing that a demographic gets obsessive about an item, fuels my drive to market the new income stream, which I have picked up in this six weeks.

Lifestyle improvement the right way – nutritional supplements for the body, the mind and the bank account. I know I am at the beginning of a wild ride with this company. I have so many ideas which will make money over the next year; I appreciate the option for outsourcing and absolutely following through.

Jay Abrams, “Opportunity is a point of view” has hit home the most for me in my approach to business and personal endeavors. I find myself thinking of possibilities, leveraging up many times, and creating a performance share as a revenue stream out of just being creative and open-minded in all situations.

I have a vision board; and am involved in the network marketing company Ocean Grown International. Having achieved 3rd tier already comes by the very best advice of reverse engineering my goal. This is another way to measure my progress, and a metric, to plan and create from.

Robert Allen and “Breakfast with Bob” sessions have been overwhelmingly beneficial for so many reasons.
I feel we have in common; how he goes about following his passion, his journey, and his growth. We both strive to emulate, that our own happiness and purpose is defined as within ourselves. And more than one profound moment has happened on this path, for me.
One of those was being challenged at the exclusion of everything else, in daily activity and life, from a business perspective.
Knowing how committed I was to my business goal, and consciously choosing to step aside from it, knowing all of the hard work and foundation, which I have completed already, will still be there when I return, actually allowed me to gain more internal wealth.
Internal wealth created by me able to become closer to my family on a level that no other path could have brought to me. And the compassion and understanding that I have for my family members and my loved ones only reenergized me in a much more laser focused fashion to continue…

Now I have the wealth of family, and I am back to become financially free.

My name is Aaron, and I have become Rich in Six!

Hello Lenny, Frank J, Aaron & the rest of the six week challengers,

It’s so wonderful to read all of your stories here at the blog, knowing there are so many like-minded entrepreneurs in EWI. I feel so grateful for the opportunity to be coached by all the EWI instructors. Life is so unexpected, I have never thought of getting involved in real estate investing and getting to know so many good friends in EWI. Just imagine, I came to this country only two years ago, everything is so new to me. But what i have learned is to follow my heart, pursue my passions, go with the flow, and heavenly father will guide me onto the path that I was born to go. Like Eckhart Tolle said, the power is in the NOW, enjoy every minute of my life, enjoy the journey, grow myself, and everything is within my reach.

Will close another deal the end of the month, conservatively have $30K equity, and a nice $700 positive cash flow minus the expenses. There are so many things that I am interested, but I kept telling myself, FOCUS, set up one system at a time, do one thing well, and then go to the next one. What a beautiful life!!!

      Hi,

I failed to make a lot of money during the previous 6 weeks challenge. I just make a few cents from Adsense add that I put on my website. I was really frustrated.

However, I did learn a lot of things from the resources on this website, especially from Coach Kat’s Internet webminar. I found out that a lot of people were having trouble implementing the 23 Steps to Quick Cash Online especially installing the Wordpress, optimizing it and finding the hosting that has fantastico.

Since I’ve been working with Wordress for more than three years, I decided to help people to install their Wordpress for FREE.

This is a new six week challenge for me. I started it on the 2nd of November ‘08. My goal is in 6 weeks I want to help at least 50 people to install their Wordpress blog. I will also share with them the information I have on setting up a business online at no charge.

I’d like to ask you to check out more details on my blog (which was set up during 9/15/08 challenge, thanks to Coach Kat).
